The Discoverer scored the first Wahoo of the year with angler Ernie DeWinne’s group reporting this nice silver bullet:
They also rounded out the haul with this big Yellowfin Tuna.
Excellent work by the big battleship in delivering two of the best meats in the ocean to these great clients.

Our new buddy Steve Persinger scored the fish of a lifetime with this super Striped Marlin release on February 7.
Captain Carlos kept the Discoverer in the thick of the action, added this excellent Sailfish release:

Craig finished up his birthday weekend on the big battleship and Captain Carlos put him on the fish. Check out this big Sailfish release:
Then on February 5th, Yaya Funes capitalized on the early season Dorado run with several nice specimens caught on a morning 5 hour trip.
Then on the 6th John Egan stepped up the the Discoverer and did battle with several nice Sailfish releases.
They also added more of our staple Dorados for the fishbox.

Jerome McKown is in the FishingNosara Hall of Famer, and this time he is back with a big group of fun-loving Texas anglers.

These sweet Sailfish releases put the big battleship to the test, but the Discoverer never backs down from a challenge.

Returning angler John Horger also got in on the consistent blue water action in late January. These fat Dorados are a great way to keep this group fed during their week in Nosara.
They also nabbed a super Sailfish release for the trophy case.
