Our old friend Patrick McGoey came in on December 6 for a quick day of fishing on the Explorer.
The fish were lined up and hungry with stacked of Dorados finding their way to the fishbox.
Kimberly Curley and her husband joined Captain Carlos on the Discoverer for a fun day of action, punctuated by some nice Yellowfin Tunas and Dorado.
Pete Andrews and Dexter Williamson enjoyed nice inshore action with Captain William on December 5. This big Dorado got the day off to a nice start:
The big fish of the day with this awesome Amberjack.
Captain David had a big day with Steve McLead on the Adventurer, nabbing a great array of filets with Jack Crevalle, Cierro Mackeral, and Dorado all on ice.
The Explorer put in work on December 5 with clients Laura and Michael Price scoring some excellent filets for the dinner table.
The rods were bending all day. Here’s what Laura wrote on Facebook: “My husband and I went out today on the Explorer. We had an AMAZING time!!! We ended the day with 6 Mahi Mahi caught with 1 Mahi Mahi, 1 tuna and 1 marlin getting away. Phenomenal crew! We loved every minute of it!”
Captain Fico welcomed Jacksonville, FL angler Steve McLeod for a productive afternoon of fishing.
They combined to catchย Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado.
Denny Broderick’s group had a fun time with Captain Alex on December 1st.
Lots of good Dorado were backed up by a nice Jack Crevalle…looks like filets of Mahi plus nice ceviche are on deck for dinner tonight!
Mike Burling and his crew kept the good times rolling on the Discoverer has Captain Carlos found them the excellent Sailfish:
After the safe release, they also scored some nice Dorado.
Rowdy Stovall and Kathryn Sharn brought the kids along for a big day of action on the Discoverer.
It always gives us a big smile to see the next generation of anglers get the great experience of big time fishing in Costa Rica.
The team enjoyed awesome Dorado action through the whole month of November, but most have been in the 30lbs.-40lbs. range.
Not this one! Captain William found this floor-sweeping monster on November 30, clearly the biggest Mahi Mahi yet.
