Mark Perdue joined the barroom brawler for two full days of fishing and they scored big with Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin.
The Discoverer scored a crazy huge Black Marlin on June 6 with Virginia-based angler Kharis Schrage.
This monster has got to weigh at least 500lbs. and put up a heck of a fight.
Kharis also scored a sweet Dorado for the dinner table.
All smiles on the battleship.
Captain Fico never lets clients leave empty-handed…the action was slow on May 14 but the Adventurer still scored some small Dorados.
They may not look like much in these pictures, but trust me they look fine once grilled and drizzled with butter, garlic, and lime!
The Explorer has continued her hot streak during mid-May with a run of Hall of Fame worthy performance. First Captain Carlos scored this ridiculous Dorado with client Gary Fiveash:
Then they backed it up with a nice pair of Sailfish releases:
I love seeing the big Dorado tail jutting out of the fishbox…even Igloo doesn’t make coolers big enough for that Mahi!
Bob Carton put the finishing touch on a great week of fishing with a run of nice Sailfish releases.
The Wanderer also scored an excellent pair of Dorados for the dinner table.
Talk about a great end-of-week feast!
The Good Doctors stayed strong on the Wanderer with reports of big Dorados, Sailfish, and Yellowfin Tuna offshore.
This mammoth Dorado was the cream of the crop for this trip…look at the mouth on this monster:
The send-off was this excellent Sailfish release posted by the flagship:
The mighty Chuck Harris sent us these pics while he was on board the Discoverer, and it looks like he already had dinner taken care of:
Gotta love this space-age shit…live fishing photos from 10 miles offshore and from a country 1300 miles away, direct to the phone in your pocket.
The Explorer closed out the month on a strong run of Sailfish releases.
The more trips that Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin run, the more they mark-up the scorecard with Sailfish releases.
Clearly these guys are sharpening their skills to a razor’s edge.
There was also lots of other species to brag about on the Super Panga. Check out these beastly Rooster fish releases:
Captain Carlos also reports a good array of Dorado and Amberjack.
Ken and Brenda Russell’s group posted another stellar day of action on March 18, highlighted by this incredible Marlin release by angler Misti Nolan.
They also snagged a Sailfish release and a nice Dorado while they were offshore.
Excellent Dorado score by Larry Komenda:
Captain William didn’t rest on his laurels on this 8 hour trip, as he made it back inshore in time to squeeze another magnificent fish into the day.
Great Rooster fish…certainly looks like it still has some fight in it!

The Explorer has been torching it the last few weeks, highlighted with tons of Sailfish released.
Captain Carlos has his thumb on the map where Sailfish City lies, but trust me he knows the way very well.
Mate Kevin is really starting to distinguish himself has an excellent fisherman and fish-handler.
All these beasts were safe releases as always.
It’s not all just trophy fish on the Explorer…check out some of these filets for the frigerator:
