Captain David delivered an identical catch report the next day for client Cathy Riddle, as another Sailfish and another Dorado found the hooks on February 17.

Beau Braid did very well on the blue water today on the big blue beauty the Wanderer. Sailfish abound in these waters, and these CCA Florida anglers were ready to meet them in battle.

After a few early releases, Beau and boys we attacked by this acrobatic Sailfish. He was bucking so hard that he jumped up into the outrigger lines!

They also scored this 30lbs. Dorado late in the trip, a perfect way to end a day of big billfish releases!

Our pal Francois Bernier took another crack at the blue water beasties and added this nice Sailfish release to his ledger:

He followed up with a 30lbs. Dorado to keep his icebox full of filets.

Harris Savin continued his tour around the fleet with a visit to Captain David’s Explorer. The good times kept rollin’ for this fun-loving client on the Super panga.

Harris was joined by Roger Smith and together they released five more Sailfish.

Look at these shots…Great work on the camera by Harris!

As usual they added a late-day Dorado for the dinner table.

Harris is on a tear this week and we expect more great catches from this angler.
After two successful fishing days on the Adventurer, Harris Savin has developed a knack for knocking down big fish.

On February 13 he was joined by his buddy Patrick McGoey on the flagship Wanderer and they put on a whirlwind fishing display that saw five Sailfish releases, plus a pair of Dorado on ice.

The Sailfish were in an acrobatic mood today, with lots of great above-the-water action.

The pair of Dorados are certainly a sweet treat, with the big daddy weighing in at 45lbs.

Great hunting by Captain William and excellent fish handling by First Mate Alex made this a day to remember for the mighty Wanderer.
The Wanderer put on a fishing clinic with client Gordon Nielsen on February 11. Captain William deployed the tried-and-true tactic of following feeding porpoises to the perfect spot.

These spinning porpoises led the way to the blue water break where the Sailfish were ready for battle.

The first releases featured some high-flyers, but Captain Williams deft boat-handling combined with First Mate Alex’s masterful fish-handling spelled trouble for these Sailfish.

Around lunchtime Gordon and the boys put a trio of Dorados on ice…always nice to add some filets to your photographs!

The Sailfish bite fired back up in the afternoon with another pair of fired-up releases.

Great work by Gordan Nielsen on board the baddest boat in the bay!
Captain Carlos returned to the blue water on February 10 and set the Adventurer right in front of a hunting pair of big Dorados.

Our custom Poseidon Rods are holding up great, even when fighting such big fish on spinning tackle.

Great filets on the way, courtesy of the 23-foot razor blade.
Paul West and Amanda Sterling took a whirlwind trip throughout the whole country of Costa Rica, but when it was time to go fishing this Neptune Beach guy knew exactly where to go: the FishingNosara flagship Wanderer!

Amanda was neck deep in the action all day long, starting off with this fat Dorado and then adding a small White Tuna for the sushi platter.

The big highlight of the trip was this awesome Sailfish released by Ms. Sterling

“I am so proud of Amanda Sterling a 9′ Sailfish, 100 lbs, off the coast of Costa Rica, truly a rock star!” writes Paul. “Thank you…you guys are the best!”

Captain David turned in an awesome performance on a morning half day on February 10 with client Bill Zaidel and his son.

Giant Sailfish swarmed the boat early in the trip, keeping Mate Kevin super busy in the cockpit.

They also scored a pair of nice Dorados around 10am, then added a few more around noon.

More Sailfish were tearing up the spread, but Bill and boys showed no mercy.

Excellent five hour trip yielding four Sailfish releases…that’s how we do it on the Super panga.
Gordon Nielsen started his multi-day Costa Rican fishing trip with Captain David on the Explorer on February 9, and he got acclimated to the blue water battleground early and often.

This big Dorado was the first fish in the boat, then the Explorer was beset by some big Sailfish

This trio of nice releases is a great start to the week for Gordon…let’s hope for more great catches for Mr. Nielsen.
