The Explorer and angler David Ramirez turned is a Hall of Fame-worthy performance on December 15, highlighted by this wonderful Blue Marlin release:
After the safe release, they scored a stack of Dorados for the dinner table.
The Harvester scored a sweet Sailfish release and some nice Dorados on December 14 with angler Leonardo Lima Pinheiro.
Brad Smith finished up his week of fishing with Captain Antonio on the Explorer, and they scored a bunch of nice Dorados plus a Jack Crevalle and Yellowfin Tuna.
On December 13, our great friend Patrick McGoey scored big on the Wanderer.
Brad Smith scored a 40lbs. Dorado on December 12. Look at Captain Wilson with this monster:
He also scored this wonderful Sailfish release. What a beauty!
After a great trip earlier in the month, Kimberly Curley returned to the Discoverer and scored more great Dorado filets.
The flagship Wanderer welcomed Bobby Boucher on the 10th and they scored a small Blue Marlin release.
They also nabbed a sweet Sailfish, which was also safely released.
For the icebox they boated a bunch of big Dorados.
On the Discoverer, Andrew Mendenhall’s family added to their stocked scorecard with another great Sailfish release.
Andrew and Richard also nabbed dinner with this Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna combo.
We received this note from Andy after the trip:
“Jill’s massive Dorado was an amazing fish in the midst of multiple billfish and other large dorado. Carlos and David, just like William and Elias are very skilled captains and crew. Remarkable humans, as well with close family and histories that go back generations.”
“We have had a truly amazing vacation, the first one for my father, sister and I- together in 35 years. All of the boat crews, the staff, Eduardo and family have all been amazing hosts. We are grateful!”
“We are definitely going to book a time in later March or April of ‘24 and will hopefully have a group of about 8-12 for lodging and fishing.”
“Jill will reach out to Bob and I know you are going to love to learn more about her vision and history of fishing in Minnesota!”
Best,
Andy
Brad Smith had a great time on the Harvester, marking the scorecard with a nice Sailfish release.
He also scored a Dorado for the dinner table.
