Jay Stewart’s family had a banner day with Captain William on July 3. The highlight was a swath of Sailfish releases.
The whole family got into the act with a triple hook-up (above) and a bunch of Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados on ice.
Captain Fico and Mate Antonio started the month of July off right. Check out this monster Dorado delivered by the super panga:
Sailfish releases and a small Dorado rounded out the scorecard for this trip.
Excellent work by the Explorer!
As the offshore bite cooled late in June, the big battleship Discoverer brought her batteries inshore and performed a nice Rooster Fish release.
The trophy fish was augmented with catches of Jack Crevalle and Dorado for the dinner table. Excellent work from Patrick Maloney’s group.
The inshore assassin Adventurer finished the month of June in grand style.
James Wesley and his buddy released a fine Rooster Fish and brought home a tasty Dorado.
Aaron Hatch and his family did a great job putting meat in the cooler on June 24.
Captain William reports multiple nice Yellowfin Tunas along with a medium-sized Dorado on the Wanderer.
Patience pays off, as proved by the flagship Wanderer on June 23. Steven Cobb’s group headed offshore, and the first fish up was this teeny-tiny Dorado.
Not big enought to keep, this little fella was returned to the water. The next two Dorados came soon after and were just barely big enough to keep.
Team Cobb stayed patient, and were rewarded with this excellent Dorado:
They also nabbed a super Sailfish release to round out the trip. Excellent perservance by Master Captain William and the flagship Wanderer.
The Explorer pulled double duty on the 17th with Jared Erickson fishing in the morning five hour session.
They nagged a nice selection of Yellowfin Tunas.
Then our old friend Tambi Katieb finishing out the day with a big Sailfish release was backed up by a nice Dorado.
The Wanderer and anglers from Sam Goodbread’s group kept the rods bent on June 15. An early Sailfish release kicked off the action.
Later in the trip, the flagship invaded a school of Yellowfin Tunas with multiple strikes.
They finished off the trip with a handful of fun-sized Dorados.
Great consitent action from Master Captain William and the flagship Wanderer.
June 15th was the last day for Dan and Natalie Kenel. Their two-week, eight charter campaign yield a bunch of great catches, but this send-off Marlin release tops them all.
Great job by Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin. The Discoverer also reports an excellent Sailfish release.
A late day Dorado put a button on their fishing adventure. Great catches and great times for these Port Charlotte, FL anglers.
Andre Miller’s group performed brillantly on the 13th, with Captain Alex reporting multiple big Yellowfin Tunas.
Later in the trip a pair of high-flying Sailfish but the mega panga to the test, but the People’s Champion was up to the challenge.
