On the 26th theย Explorer and David Spivak scored several nice Dorados, including BIG one!
Members of Raul Otero’s group joined Captain Antonio on theย Explorer for a great fishing romp on January 24.
The rest of the Otero Group has been scoring Dorados, but on this trip they added some tasty Yellowfin Tunas to the filet bag. They also replenished their Dorado stocks later in the trip:
Our very good friend Raul Otero has returned to Nosara, flanked by his posse of excellent Tampa Bay anglers. On the 23rd, they took theย Explorerย and filled up the fishbox with tasty Dorados.
Theย Explorer welcomed Allen Smith for a fun day of Dorado action on January 22.
Mr. and Mrs. Van den Bogert finished their week of fishing on the Explorer with a wonderful Rooster Fish release:
They also nabbed some nice Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas.
The Explorer and Team Van den Bogert released a wonderful Blue Marlin on January 19.
For the icebox they nabbed a few very nice Yellowfin Tunas.
They also scored a BIG Dorado. What an amazing haul for the barroom brawlerย Explorer.
Mr. and Mrs. Van den Bogert had another excellent day on the 18th. A nice Sailfish release got the day started well:
They spent the rest of the day loading up on Dorados.
The Van den Bogert group made the long journey from Europe to fish a full week on the Explorer. On their first day, they we welcomed to the blue water by this fired-up Striped Marlin:
This one spit the hook and escaped, but these anglers stayed vigilant and scored several nice Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.
John Egan’s group took to the Explorer on the 12th after spending a few days on the big boats earlier in the week.
Smaller boat, same big fish! An excellent Striped Marlin release was backed-up with a super Sailfish release.
They also boated a few tasty Dorados for the dinner table.
