Lauren Merriam and Larry Schenavar knocked it out of the park on March 16 with a beautiful Striped Marlin release on the Discoverer.
Backed up by a nice Sailfish, these Crystal River anglers clearly put up a great day of billfish releases.
Texas angler Trey Hardy scored a true fish-of-a-lifetime with Captain William on the Wanderer during a full day trip on February 28.
Upon release this monster was estimate to weigh 250lbs.

The legendary Dan Johnson rejoined the Wanderer for a billfish hunt on February 27, and along with his daughter Delaney Johnson scored a big Blue Marlin backed up by a nice Sailfish.
This monster weighs well over 300lbs. and is certainly a breathtaking achievement.
Delaney’s Sailfish was no slouch either, putting up a big fight on the way to a safe release.
Joe Goins’ group nabbed a world-class Marlin with Captain William on February 24.
This monster put on an above-the-water acrobatic display as the mighty flagship fought her all the way to a safe release.

Our old friend Joe Goins gave up on the snowy Northeast weather in favor of a full week of hot fishing with Captain William in late February.
From the 20th to the 24th Mr. Goins and his family fished everyday for eight hours per day; that’s some serious fishing!
This small Striped Marlin fought just as fiercely as its full grown brothers, but the mighty Wanderer was up to the task.
There was plenty of meat for the dinner table as well, thanks to this nice Dorado.
Still the target of the week was big billfish, and Captain William did not disappoint.
They closed out the week with another juvenile Striped Marlin release.

The Wanderer stepped into a billfish battle on February 15 with client Brad Hendricks. The highlight was this Striped Marlin:

Art Jones and David Ardoin marked up the scorecard with a wonderful day on the Harvester that featured a nice Striped Marlin release backed up with lots of Sailfish.
After the Marlin release, the Harvester was beset by hungry aggressive Sailfish.
With such clear water these fish are all the more gorgeous…Look at the glowing blue bio-luminescence on these beauty.
Mate Kevin was on his game with ten safe Sailfish releases plus the safe Marlin release. Surely his arms are tired after a day like this!

Ken Smith Jr. celebrated his dad Ken Smith Sr.’s birthday with a sweet fishing trip to Costa Rica. The whole family was in on the birthday surprise:

“At this very moment, I knew this fish wasn’t very happy.” wrote Kenny on his Facebook page.
This Black Marlin is easily over 300lbs. and put up a fight like a bulldog.
Great release by Captain Fico and Mate Elias was the perfect way to close out this awesome experience.
No great week of fishing is complete without a end-of-trip dinner, and this late day Yellowfin Tuna fit the bill:

The mega panga Harvester welcomed client Richard Dennis for a double Marlin release day on January 24.
This pair of juvenile Marlins put up the same strong fight as their full-grown brethren and challenged the skills of Captain Alex to keep the fish from tangling.
Beautiful fish-handling by Mate Kevin saw to a pair of safe releases of these unruly teenage Marlin.
All this on just a 5 hour trip!
