The Wanderer welcomed Chris Russell family on December 28, and the scored a world-class Blue Marlin release:
The boys also put in big work to fill the icebox with Yellowfin Tuna filets.
Chet Nadolski’s family rode in from the nearby town of Carillo to experience Costa Rica’s best sportfishing, and the flagship Wanderer did not disappoint.
This bad Blue Marlin release was backed-up with a super Sailfish release.
For the dinner table they scored nice Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.
Excellent performance from Master Capitan William and the mighty Wanderer.
The Explorer and angler David Ramirez turned is a Hall of Fame-worthy performance on December 15, highlighted by this wonderful Blue Marlin release:
After the safe release, they scored a stack of Dorados for the dinner table.
The flagship Wanderer welcomed Bobby Boucher on the 10th and they scored a small Blue Marlin release.
They also nabbed a sweet Sailfish, which was also safely released.
For the icebox they boated a bunch of big Dorados.
Luke Correale did big work on the Explorer with Captain Antonio reporting an amazing Striped Marlin release, backed-up with nice Dorados.
Striped Marlin safe released as always.
Chameleon Andrews had a fantastic day with Master Captain William on the Wanderer.
Master Captain William flexed his photographer muscles with these amazing action shots, and Mate Elias saw to the safe release of this Striped Marlin as always.
They also dueled a high-flying Sailfish.
In addition to the billfish releases, Team Andrews nabbed several tasty Dorados for the dinner table.
The season is so young, but we already have our first sure-fire, first ballot FishingNosara Hall of Fame inductee:
This amazing 50+lbs. Dorado was scored by Andrew Mendenhall’s group on December 6. This monster was the largest of nine Dorados caught.
The Discoverer also added a Striped Marlin release and two Sailfish releases.
On any other day this level of billfish action would be an excellent performance, but the mega Mahi-Mahi makes this a day to remember.
FishingNosara has long been a proud sponsor of the Tampa, FL based Rough Riders Tournament; on November 21st, this year’s winners turned in a blistering performance on the Wanderer.

The Wanderer also battled a nice Sailfish, safe releasing it as always.
For the fishbag they stacked up a nice pile of Dorado filets.
For variety, they added this pair of Yellowfin Tunas.

The Harvester performed brillantly on the 21st with angler Chris Cummings group notching the scorecard with an excellent Striped Marlin release.
