The boys also put in big work to fill the icebox with Yellowfin Tuna filets.
Chet Nadolski’s family rode in from the nearby town of Carillo to experience Costa Rica’s best sportfishing, and the flagship Wanderer did not disappoint.
This bad Blue Marlin release was backed-up with a super Sailfish release.
For the dinner table they scored nice Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.
Excellent performance from Master Capitan William and the mighty Wanderer.
Dean Pollack’s group nabbed a great Sailfish release on the 21st.
Then they added a bunch of high-flying Dorados for the dinner table.
Randy Lovejoy and his family found great success on December 20 with a Sailfish release leading the scorecard.
The Discoverer released this monster as always, then set in on multiple Dorado scores.
“We had a WONDERFUL time today!” wrote Randy after the trip. “So glad we did the trip. Thank you!! And hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!”
On December 13, our great friend Patrick McGoey scored big on the Wanderer.
The flagship Wanderer welcomed Bobby Boucher on the 10th and they scored a small Blue Marlin release.
They also nabbed a sweet Sailfish, which was also safely released.
For the icebox they boated a bunch of big Dorados.
Chameleon Andrews had a fantastic day with Master Captain William on the Wanderer.
Master Captain William flexed his photographer muscles with these amazing action shots, and Mate Elias saw to the safe release of this Striped Marlin as always.
They also dueled a high-flying Sailfish.
In addition to the billfish releases, Team Andrews nabbed several tasty Dorados for the dinner table.
The Mendenhall family kept the rods bent with the Wanderer on December 5.
The Dorado bit hard and were plucked up throughout the day.
Late-day Yellowfin Tunas allowed for fresh on-board sushi…Yummy!
Salvatore Carrubba’s scored a wide variety of catches on December 4.
The Wanderer found that the Dorados were fired-up and flying high.
They also scored a quartet of Yellowfin Tunas.
The highlight of the trip was this super Sailfish release.
The Wanderer welcomed back Dan Rosensteel and Ed Benus for a great day of Dorado action.
