The Stoked on Fishing crew struck gold on the 22nd, and by gold we mean Yellow, and by Yellow we mean MONSTER Yellowfin Tunas.
These beasts are great eating and put up a tremendous fight. These California anglers weren’t resting on the big Yellas; get a load of this monster Wahoo.
Lori Carnhan and Ed Howerton scored a BIG Yellowfin Tuna on the 22nd.
Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin have been on fire this month.
Shea McIntee led the posse from Stoked on Fishing TV for the first day of fishing with the mighty flagship Wanderer.
Giant Yellowfin Tunas were the order of the day, and the action was consistent.
They were rubbing rails with theย Discoverer and scoring big.

Theย Discoverer took Lori Carnahan, Ed Howerton, and the rest of the Stoked on Fishing team offshore on the 19th for a stunning day of fishing.
This Wahoo catch is a rare treat for our crews; there are lots of Wahoo in the fishery, but only the biggest ones are able to snatch our baits from the more aggressive Sailfish/Marlin.
We average only one Wahoo a month, but the ones we get are MASSIVE!
They backed up the Silver Bullet with several tasty Yella Fellas…that’s a diverse filet bag!
After a great day of catches on the mega panga, Doug and Barbara Levalley moved up to the flagshipย Wanderer on the 15th.
Captain William pickup up right where they left off with multiple awesome Yellowfin tuna catches.
The People’s Champion Harvester captured and released one of the most beautiful Blue Marlins in memory. Look at the bioluminescence on this beauty:
Team Miller from Montana perfomed brilliantly on this safe release.
They scored a nice Yellowfin Tuna for the filet bag.

Master Captain William and the SOF Championย Wanderer continued to shine in mid-May.
On the 14th the mighty flagship scored a quartet of excellent Yellowfin Tunas.

South Florida anglers Barbara and Doug Levalley first fished with us in the summer of 2019. They were itching to get back in 2020, but the pandemic put their plans on hold.
Looks like it was worth the wait!
Several monsterous Yellowfin Tuna catches kept this posse busy all day long.
They also mixed in a nice Sailfish release.
What is one to do with all these tuna filets?

In May the Yellowfin Tuna showed up as expected, and the big battleship Discoverer was ready to welcome them.
Anglers from John Blount’s group nabbed a bunch of tasty Yellowfin Tunas for the dinner table.
