Theย Discoverer took Lori Carnahan, Ed Howerton, and the rest of the Stoked on Fishing team offshore on the 19th for a stunning day of fishing.
This Wahoo catch is a rare treat for our crews; there are lots of Wahoo in the fishery, but only the biggest ones are able to snatch our baits from the more aggressive Sailfish/Marlin.
We average only one Wahoo a month, but the ones we get are MASSIVE!
They backed up the Silver Bullet with several tasty Yella Fellas…that’s a diverse filet bag!
Lousiana angler Jeff Hieber ran the gamut on April 4 with Captain Alex reporting Sailfish and Rooster fish releases.
For steaks they brought home a wonderful Wahoo.

FishingNosara Legends Ken and Brenda Russell joined Captain Alex on the 22nd, and right away Brenda posted the biggest Wahoo of the year so far.
Misti Nolan also nagged a super Sailfish release.
Of course it the Russells are fishing, you know Larry Komenda is going to be in the mix. Check out this excellent Yellowfin Tuna.
Captain Carlos was joined by our good friend Kevin Campbell on the 19th, and this Alaska-based angler put on a show with multiple Sailfish releases.
Theย Discoverer also reports a catch of the elusive Wahoo. These silver bullets are tough fighters and yield incredible tasty steaks.
They also added a decent Yellowfin Tuna to round out the haul.
On March 10 the Explorerย had a fun day aboard the Explorer.ย This group scored the requisite Yellowfin Tunas.
They also bragged the more elusive Wahoo.

Captain Alex tracked down this elusive Wahoo on the 15th, and theย Harvester successfully battled the silver bullet all the way to the fishbox.
Robert McKee and the Explorerย stayed inshore on the 28th and scored a wide variety of tasty treats.
The nagged a big Dorado, a nice Yellowfin Tuna, and a delicious Wahoo.

They reunited with Captain Alex on the 15th and got right back to business with multiple Sailfish releases.

Theย Explorer is always a good bet for a suprise fish, and this monster Wahoo fits the bill.
This fish is quite abundant, but this catch is surprising because the sharp teeth of the Wahoo tends to overwhelm our all-mono blue water rigs.
The barroom brawler also nagged the more predictable haul of Yellowfin Tunas.
