Robbie Parks dropped this report on July 23: “Bite was much slower today. But thanks to Capt. Alex late ninth inning rally, we ended up with 5 more sails, three of them in the last hour and two of those were on a double hookup.”
“So far, the Parks clan has 15 sailfish. My grandsons are now believers.”
Tim Wagner and the Explorer found a few nice Sailfish on July 23.
Nice release by Mate Fito, who is currently in-training. Guests from this season recognize Fito as our new panga boat operator and he has done great so far this season running the clients and supplies to/from the boats.
We look forward to Fito’s continued development as a boatman.
The Discoverer had a big day on the 23rd with angler David Brinson.
Excellent Sailfish releases marke the scorecard from this 6.5 hour trip.
After a five Sailfish day on the Harvester, angler Robbie Parks and his family (Adrienne, Simon, and Judah Tucker) moved over the Wanderer on July 22.
Master Captain William beat is protege by one, as the Wanderer reports SIX Sailfish releases.
They also loaded up on filets with three Yellowfin Tunas.
The Discoverer stayed hot on July 22 with angler Doug Supak.
The Sailfish were lined up and the big battleship fought them all the way to safe releases.
Captain David continued his excellence on July 22 with angler Casey O’Reilly reporting amazing Sailfish releases.
They also added a tasty Wahoo to the filet bag.
Excellent work by the 23-foot switchblade.
North Florida angler Ryan Cook had a great day with the Wanderer on July 21.
The Sailfish were stacked up thick and attacked the flagship in waves.
“The trip went great!” Ryan emailed. “William and Elias were exceptional.”
After all the Sailfish releases, they also added a small Yellowfin Tuna late in the trip.
The Harvester was joined on July 21 by Texas angler Tim Wagner for a fantastic day of Sailfish action.
These high-flying monsters put on an aerial display all the way to the safe releases.
Doug Supak’s group scored several memorable trophy fish releases on July 21 with the Discoverer reporting a Double Sailfish Release.
Mate Kevin took great care to make sure these fish were safely released after the photos.
Later in the trip they moved inshore and scored this excellent Rooster Fish release.
