Great work by Captain William to deliver this world-class release for these fun-loving Texans…looks like it took it out of them:
Eric Dixon continues his habit of catching big billfish on spinning tackle. This time he scored twice in one week on the Harvester.
Look at the workout the Dixon boys are giving to our new Shimano Stella spinners; we weren’t sure how these would hold up to such a fight, but it turns out these are just as tough as our Tiagra conventional reels.
Later in the week Eric struck again, this time with the old reliable Penn Slammer.
Great work by this father and son duo of Colorado anglers!
The super panga Explorer started the month of June on an absolute tear with big numbers of Sailfish releases.
When the Sails are piled up this thick, the challenge isn’t to catch them; it’s releasing them quickly so we can catch some more!
After a few solo releases to get started, Captain Fico and Mate Elias pulled off this sweet Double Sailfish release!
The hits kept coming the next day with several more releases on the scorecard.
The action stayed strong throughout the week, highlighted by this second Double release:
The Explorer is more than just an offshore troller, proven by these excellent Rooster fish scores near-to-shore.
The Wanderer welcomed Tom Kerl and his group for a nice day offshore, highlighted by this sweet Sailfish release:
Great work by the incomparable Captain William!
The Harvester welcomed a super-fun group of Texas anglers for the first of three big days of blue water action on June 4.
Tracey Melnar, Jennifer Felchak-Tagliabue, Donna Trubee, Norman Trubee, and Dave Tagliabue stayed inshore on their first day and scored a beautiful Cubera Snapper.
Safe to say they got dinner filets on ice for the week!
Then they added this wonderful Rooster Fish release later in the day.
Great start to a big week of fishing!
Eric Dixon is back and once again brought a knife to a gunfight…check out this amazing billfish release performed with a spinning rod:
All and all another great day on the flagship Wanderer!
Karl Rickert and Michael Weathers did well on the Discoverer with three Sailfish releases reported on the 26th.
Nice work by the big battleship!
Art and Christine Jones knocked it out of the park on the 25th with a wide array of fish marking up the scorecard.
After nabbing this tasty Queen Snapper, the Wanderer headed offshore to hunt Sailfish.
They stayed cool with these new FishingNosara self-cooling hats, and that spelled trouble for these high-flying Sailfish.
The height of the day’s action was this triple hook-up, with all three Sailfish safely released:
Even with this full scorecard, the never-quit Captain William put the lines out one more time and nabbed another pair of Sailfish.
Karl Rickert, Michael Weathers and the rest of the Out Sick fishing team did it big with Captain William on May 24.
These South Florida anglers scored a swarm of Sailfish releases on board the Wanderer.
The highlight was clearly this sweet Double Sailfish releases executed by Mate Johnson to perfection:
The bite has been on fire this week with big numbers of Sailfish bites. The Discoverer knocked out five Sailfish releases on a half day trip with client Dwayne Fuller.
That’s a fish per hour if your scoring at home!
Great work by Captain Carlos and Mate Juan Carlos on this fast-paced day of action.
