The Wanderer continued her hot fishing performance with more great Sailfish releases.
The blue beauty reports four Sailfish releases on the 22nd.
Great hunting by Captain William backed up by safe releases by Mate Johnson…all in a days’ work for the mighty flagship.
Michael and Faye Tarantino are our first anglers to come our way from the CCA Louisiana chapter.
They broke the ice in fine fashion with a fine Sailfish release backed up by a tasty Yellowfin Tuna.
Great work by the unstoppable Explorer.
Luanna Schramme’s group took to the battleship for a full-day of fishing and was rewarded with a bounty of Sailfish strikes.
They released four Sailfish throughout the day, all safely handled by Mate Juan Carlos.
Our good friend Lynn Tebbenkamp had a rollicking good time on the Wanderer as Captain William scored a big Yellowfin Tuna offshore.
This is a rare catch for this early in the year, and is hopefully a sign of more big Yella Fellas to come.
They also released a beautiful Sailfish to round out the day.
On February 19 returning anglers Bob and Helen Goins executed a Double Sailfish release on the Wanderer.
Both fish were safely handled and released by Mate Johnson, however we chose to not get the double picture and instead let one go early to ensure the safety of the fish.
The Explorer had a monster day on the 17th with three Sailfish releases, two Rooster Fish releases, and a big Dorado on ice.
Nice fish handling by Mate Kevin to ensure safe releases of these prized trophy fish!
It certainly looks like client Dante Quinine and his posse got their fishing fix on this trip!
The Discoverer welcomes client Annalise Osborne and her boys for a fun afternoon of offshore action. The highlight was this awesome Double Sailfish release:
