Master Captain William led the charge on December 28th. Joined by members of the John Hislop group, the Wanderer tracked down a fast-moving school of Yellowfin Tunas (somewhat unusual for this time of year).

You can see in the photos that the Master Captain called in the rest of the local boats to work this school of fish; sharing is caring!

Captain Wilson reported four Yellowfin Tunas and a nice Sailfish release on December 28 for John Hislop’s group.

The Sailfish have been a little scarce recently, but hopefully this influx of Yellowfin Tuna to the feeding chain will coax the Sailfish back into the action.

John Hislop’s family continued their catching ways on December 28 with Captain Carlos reporting nice Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna scores.

Captain David struck gold (or, Yellow) on the 28th with a pair of tasty Yellowfin Tunas.

It’s very encouraging to see Yella Fellas of this size so close to shore.
John Hislop’s family got off to a quick start on the 26th with Master Captain William reporting great Dorado action with a nice Yellowfin Tuna sprinkled in.

It’s always a treat to see young anglers scored nice fish.

Over on the Harvester, John Hislop’s family scored some wonderful Yellowfin Tunas.

The Explorer nagged the big fish of the day on the 26th with this amazing Dorado.

They added a few more for good measure. Excellent action from Captain Fico.

We love to help youngster get acclimated to the craft of bluewater sportfishing, and on the 22nd Master Captain William kept the lines bent for this family.

After warming up on small fish, they moved a little further offshore and nagged some big Yellowfin Tunas and a nice Dorado.

The big battleship Discoverer delivered the best trip of the year so far for anglers from Cary Clark’s group. On December 22 they released THREE Blue Marlins!

One of these monsters it a fish-of-a-lifetime, so a three release day is off-the-charts. Excellent work by Mate Kevin to safely release the whole trio.

This makes five Marlin releases in three days for Cary Clark.
They also nagged this dinner-table sized Dorado for what I can imagine is a mighty end-of-week feast:
