Captain Wilson kept the rods bent in January with several nice scores.
Some tasty Amberjack were caught nearshore, and off in the blue water the Harvester nabbed several nice Dorados.
The action ramped up in intensity as the month went on. Check out this super Sailfish release:

Captain David is a master of all styles of fishing, including vertical jigging. He nagged a nice selection of Jack Crevelles on January 22.
These fish are fun to catch but not great to eat, so they released them to fight another day.

After a fine day of Dorado scores on the Wanderer, Team Odle moved over to the big battleship Discoverer on the 22nd and added Yellowfin Tunas to their filet haul.
They added another monsterous Dorado to round out the trip:

Florida angler Nick Odle and his group scored a nice array of Dorado with Captain William on January 21.
Mate Elias served up this first fish as sushi, and another big Dorado was on the hook before this group finished their snack (check the background)
Great job by the mighty flagship Wanderer.

At FishingNosara we keep security guards on the boats overnight; it’s a tough job, with long hours keeping lookout. Recently they have spotted something unusual: Big Snook hanging out under the boats just before sunrise.
Javier aka Rey Robalo took his son Dario and boatman Fito out in the Transporter on the 20th and found out the stories from the guards were correct:
This 33lbs. Snook is just a taste…on the same adventurer he hooked up to a five-foot long Snook.
He lost him this time, but we will see if this Loch Ness Monster of a Snook is real soon enough.

Dustin Smith and the Wanderer posted a brilliant trip on January 19 with TWO Marlin Releases!
This feisty Blue Marlin release was followed by a nice Striped Marlin release.
