FishingNosara is the first choice for Family Fishing in Costa Rica, and we are honored to be chosen by so many parents to show their kids a great experience on the water.

Check out the family Double Sailfish release scored by client Brad Ferris and his clan.

Hectic action on the Wanderer made smooth by Captain William and First Mate Alex. Both fish released safely and these kids get a great fishing memory to last a lifetime.

Bob Goins left the ladies at home for his second trip of the week and led the boys on a fishing mission to Sailfish City. Captain William found the fish and they hooked up a Sailfish right off the bat.

No gloves, huh Alex? It’s safe to say that First Mate Alex is in mid-season form with all the Sailfish releases this month!

These North Carolina anglers totaled four Sailfish releases on the trip.

Bob’s boys also added a pair of Dorados which should make the wives happy that the bacon is being brought home.

Excellent work as always by the famous Wanderer.

After getting acclimated to the blue water on the Adventurer, Ed Showalter and his group boarded the Wanderer for a trip to Sailfish City.

Captain William followed the porpoise schools to the feeding grounds, which First Mate Alex prepared an irresistible spread.

Right on cue, this high-flying beauty hit the hook and the fight was on! Laura belted up for the fight as the crew of the Wanderer put the moves on this high-flying Sailfish.

Laura did a great job keeping this animal under control as it zig-zagged to both sides of the boat.

Another excellent release by First Mate Alex and a nice notch on Team Showalter’s scorecard.

Scott Greiner and his crew stepped aboard the Wanderer with dreams of billfish, and Captain William snapped them awake with six lovely Sailfish releases on a 6.5 hour trip.

The ladies started off the action with a pair of Sailfish released early in the trip.

The boys held their own with three total releases; one per man.

The walk-off shot was the largest and most brightly colored of the day.

Great work by First Mate Alex in seeing to the safe release of all six specimens.

Ed Showalter brought a group of great anglers from the lake-dotted countryside of west-central Ontario, Canada; this crew is ready to fish HARD with five trips planned this week.

They got off to a fast start with Captain Carlos on the Adventurer with a fine Sailfish release; fitting that this group’s youngest angler caught the first billfish from our smallest boat.

Size don’t matter in this kind of fight! Great work by Captain Carlos on the safe release.

With the scorecard already marked, this bunch was ready to thaw out in some nice tropical sunshine…looks like everyone is settling in just fine!

March 18, 2014

Richard and Jean Prowant found out just how effective Super panga fishing can be on March 18 with Captain David and Mate Kevin. These Moorehaven, FL-based anglers strutted their stuff with four Sailfish releases.

Also they scored two nice eating fish: a nice sized Wahoo early in the trip and a beefy Dorado on the back end.

This is the first of three scheduled trips on the Explorer for Richard and Jean…look out for more great action from these Floridians.

Jennifer and Shannon Gonzalez enlisted Captain William and the Wanderer on March 18 for a return trip to Sailfish City. The blue water was fruitful for these Tampa-area anglers as they stacked up Sailfish releases with great precision.

First Mate Alex had his work cut out for him wrangling these sea monsters; check out the look on Jennifer’s face when this bucking beast was brought up:

All the billfish were safely released care of the excellent First Mate Alex. Seems like the Sailfish got more aggressive at the day wore on…you’d think the first four Sailfish would spread the word to the others not to mess with the best!

The highlight of the trip was a Double sailfish hook-up that led to a thrilling release!

They closed out the day with a final Sailfish release. Wonderful action from the famous Wanderer!

Jennifer and Shannon Gonzalez torched the blue water creatures with Captain David on the Explorer on March 17.

The Sailfish have been thick recently and the Super Panga capitalized with several super releases.

The only thing that interrupted the Sailifsh swarm was this gargantuan Wahoo:

That is a legitimate deck sweeper!

These tough anglers kept the pedal to the metal with more Sailfish releases to finish off the trip.

Excellent performance by Captain David and Mate Kevin on the legendary Explorer.
