Theย Harvester caught BIG Dorado on November 10 with angler Luke Morony on the reel.
They spent the day racking up tasty Yellowfin Tunas for the dinner table.
The flagshipย Wanderer welcomed our great friend Tod Alberto’s family for a nice day of action on November 8.
Dorado were thick throughout the morning, and Tod answered the bell with the big one of the day:
They added variety to the filet bag with a football-sized Yellowfin Tuna.
Our good friends Doug and Barbara Levalley returned for a quick 5 day trip in late August. On their first day fishing theย Discoverer gave them all the filets they can eat plus some to take home:
A super-size Dorado was backed up with a beefy Yellowfin Tuna. Awesome job by Captain Carlos!
Avid outdoorsman Juan Levesque returned for a bout of blue water fishing on August 17.
The Explorer found that MONSTER Dorado were all over the place and took advantage of these late-season beauties.
Central Florida angler Mark Shugg stepped up theย Harvester on August 9 and boat a MONSTER Dorado:
Young Mr. Shugg scored a ‘small’ Dorado, but it’s only small compared to the first fish.
This Wahoo is legitimately small (for us, at least) but will filet up into a pair of tasty white-meat steak all the same.
On August 7, Ryan Lampasona returned to theย Harvester and upped the ante with an excellent Blue Marlin release.
This is the third world-class trophy release in two days for this group, and all that reeling can work up an appetite. Fortunately, a MONSTER Dorado and several nice Yellowfin Tunas will hit the spot.
Our dear friend Roche from just up the road in Playa Avellanas reserved the only open date the Harvester had open in late July, and to say he picked wisely would be an understatement.
This 150+lbs. Yellowfin Tuna is the largest of the season so far, and it wasn’t alone…the behemoth was accompanied by a very respectable Yellowfin Tuna and a BIG Dorado.
Keith Benson scored an absolute MONSTER Dorado with Captain Carlos on July 26.
On July 25 theย Harvester welcomed Greg Safer and his family for a knock-down, drag-out Dorado campaign.
These are some of the biggest examples of their haul, as Captain Wilson reports that they eventually lost count of the catches.
Good problem to have!
Rodolfo Cienfuegos and Luis Ibarra joined up with Master Captain William on July 25, and the mighty flagship put them neck-deep in a blue water battle with BIG Dorados.
The catches came in numbers, and they seemed to grow bigger as the day went on.
The Master Captain only emerges for photographs for very special catches, and this deck-sweeper Dorado fits the bill:
