The Discoverer kept rolling on May 26 and on the 5 hour journey they nabbed a nice Sailfish release backed up by a nice Dorado.

The next day the Discoverer welcomed a different group of Texans for an equally big day of offshore action. Karen and Chris Lawrence’s group boated the biggest Yellowfin Tuna of the season so far:
This monster was the big one, however several other nice Yellowfin Tunas were caught:
On May 22, Karen and Chris Lawrence pulled off one of the great feats in blue water fishing: the DOUBLE SAILFISH Release.
This challenge involves keeping both fish separated during the fight so they don’t cut off the lines, and masterfully boat- and fish-handling.
Great work by the dynamic duo of Captain Carlos and his little brother Mate Kevin!
Later in the day filled up the fishbox with these tasty Dorados.
Awesome job from two of our favorite Texas anglers.
On May 21 Mark Rogers scored on the battleship with a nice Sailfish release backed up by a big Dorado.

Karen Lawrence and her group of fun-loving Texas anglers got their week in Nosara off to a fast start with this excellent Sailfish release on the 20th.
They also filled-up the refrigerator with Dorado filets, thanks to this nice catch:
Jake Jump and the Discoverer knocked it out of the park on the 16th with a great day of offshore action.
It started with this nice Sailfish release, then loaded up on tasty Yellowfin Tunas.

The Discoverer welcomed a fun-loving group led by angler Lynsey Wheeler for a productive half day of action on May 10. A nice Sailfish release got things rolling:
Then a nice haul of Yellowfin Tunas rounded out the day.
Filets on ice and a trophy release for the scrapbook…all is a half-day’s work for the big battleship Discoverer.
The Discoverer nabbed an awesome Sailfish release on May 4.
All smiles for angler Jerry Miller and his group. They returned the next day for more trophy fish releases.
After the sweet Sailfish, they topped off the trophy room with an excellent Rooster fish release.
Captain Carlos finished the month of April strong with another great Sailfish release.

On April 24, Jason Alexander scored the fish of a lifetime with Captain Carlos on the Discoverer.
Great fish handling by Mate Kevin to see the safe release of this beautiful Blue Marlin. Later in the trip they backed up the trophy release with a handful of tasty Yellowfin Tunas.
