The Adventurer is rocking and rolling with yet another smooth Rooster fish release:
Oh yeah!
The flagship Wanderer was up to her old tricks on April 11 with client James Bagwell.
This fun-loving group scored a Rooster fish to start off the trip, then scored the first of two Sailfish releases:
The second Sailfish was the highlight of the trip; a big fish with a lot of fight in her.
Great job by Captain William and First Mate Alex to ensure the safe release of all three of these trophy fish.
The 23-foot Adventurer scored a sweet Rooster fish release on April 8.
Great work by Captain Fico to coordinate the fight, photo, and release single-handedly and fast enough to ensure a safe live release.
The Super Panga Explorer snatched a big Rooster Fish release on April 7 for Florida angler Ivan Oelrich.
Great work by Captain Carlos with this Sunshine State angler!
The Wanderer scored a massive Cubera Snapper to start off an afternoon 5hr. trip on April 7.
Then the flagship took advantage of the legendary late-day bite with some scale-tipping monsters caught just before sunset:
This Rooster fish was released, but this Cubera Snappers had no such luck:
Sweet tattoo alert!
Great work by the never-surrender Wanderer!
El Jefe got out on the water to celebrate Easter with a fine Rooster Fish.
Nice catch by Javier and excellent fish-handling by Captain Fico on the release.
South Carolina angler Jonathan Wright enlisted the Wanderer for a day inshore of fishing and snorkeling.
The highlight of the day was this big Rooster fish release (above), however they followed it up with a smaller pez gallo later in the trip:
Also the clear waters around the Pink island made for some fun snorkeling.
All in a days’ work for the mighty Wanderer.
The Thomas Martin group added another pair of Rooster Fish releases to their scorecard on March 25.
Inshore madness on the March 24 on-board the Wanderer!
This 30lbs. Rooster Fish release got things going early, then was followed up with this gigantic Cubera Snapper:
Later in the trip they repeated with a Rooster Fish release followed up with another Cubera.
The reefs have been fertile all month, but rarely do we get two massive Rooster Fish releases AND two Cubera Snappers.
As an added delicacy, check out this Blue Jack Crevelle…this is a rare catch for our area and is the first of the year for the whole team.
The Wanderer scored big on the inshore reefs with a pair of Rooster Fish releases on a morning half day.
That may be the biggest Rooster of the season so far, and the second one was no slouch:
