Theย Explorer and angler Sean Taylor battled a big blue Marlin on the 27th, and this monster put on a show above and below the water.
Amazing work by Captain Fico to wrangle this monster in for a safe release.
UK angler Peter Brumby joined the Harvesterย on Christmas Eve and they had a bunch of nice gifts under the tree.
“We had a great morning fishing today,” wrote Peter in an email.
The Lutz boys kept up the hot action on December 11. Captain Alex caught this amazing footage of BIG Yellowfin Tunas breaching the water:
They worked over the bubbling pot of fish and nagged this pair of excellent specimens.
Episode 2 delivers the big boys…get pumped for a monster Dorado, some great Sailfish and Marlin releases, and then a crazy battle with a big Black Marlin. The latter got away, but what do you expect with a mammoth like this one.
It’s been a fantastic month of fishing at the mouth of the Rio Nosara.
Wilson Mendoza took a break from being the mate on theย Harvester to wet a line at the river mouth. The catch above was from November 14 and the pair below are from the 19th.
Then on November 27, Javier (Rey Robalo) and Mark Trevino nagged this wonderful 28lbs. Snook at sunset.
Always the conservationist, Javier released this monster alive and well.
The Harvester battled another amazing Marlin with angler Jamie Sheils reporting this mammoth fish-of-a-lifetime.

Another great Blue Marlin was on the line and flying high later in the trip. Angler John Moscarillo put up a good fight with multiple leader touches, and then this majestic billfish broke off and escaped.
