WAAAAHHHHOOOOO!!!
The Adventurer snagged three Silver Bullets on June 12, with the big one clocking in well over 30 lbs.
This is one of the best-tasting filets in our stretch of ocean and everyone was all smiles with these scores.
Captain Fico didn’t have to take the 23-foot Adventurer far in order to score a whopper of a Wahoo.
It’s great to see young anglers besting big fish…great work by the Adventurer.
Newlyweds Daniel and Vicky Martinko brought their talents over to the Super Panga and the Explorer scored excellent fish for these clients. Check out this mammoth Wahoo:
Daniel followed up with a pair of big Rooster fish releases:
Great work by Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin for these awesome anglers!
Captain Fico has become a sort-of advance scout for the FishingNosara team; last month he uncovered a pocket of Cuberas that the team stayed on for a few days, plus he scored an early-season Yellowfin Tuna.
Now he has popped the lid of the first can of Wahoo we’ve seen in a few months. Nice work by the trailblazing Adventurer.
The Explorer welcomed Ohio anglers Kevin and Mary Ann Dineen for a landmark day of fish harvesting.
This foursome of fishermen got down to business quickly, with each party member scoring a Dorado early in the trip.
Then the monster Dorado came calling!
After this wad of Mahi-Mahi’s on ice, it’s easy to think that the Explorer would call it a day…but that ain’t how the barroom brawler gets down!
The final fish of the day was a MASSIVE Wahoo:
I think we need a bigger cooler…Amazing that this monster’s tail is almost still in the water!
Easily the biggest Wahoo of the year, this monster might weigh north of 70lbs.
Sheesh, the picture weighs 5 pounds!
Great work by the unstoppable Explorer!
Captain Carlos has continued to shine on the super panga Explorer this month.
On November 11 he led a trip to the inshore fish market for his clients and they filled the shopping cart with Dorado, Wahoo, and Queen Snappers:
Amazing all around catches for the Explorer left these clients with a wide variety of filets for the frigerator.
The Discoverer is back in action after an extended off-season of maintenance and repair. Captain David is stoked to be back on the water, while the fish population is not nearly as enthusiastic to see the battleship prowling the surface.
Client Nick Townsend snared the first fish of the season…check out this sweet Wahoo:
A great start to what we know will be a great season!
The Adventurer continues to amaze as Mate Fico has really applied himself to maintain the high standards set on the 23-foot pocket knife.
Check out this big Wahoo, estimated at 35+lbs.:
That was the highlight of a trip that also included small Tunas and Dorados…a nice way to round out the shopping cart.
Richard and Jean Prowant found out just how effective Super panga fishing can be on March 18 with Captain David and Mate Kevin. These Moorehaven, FL-based anglers strutted their stuff with four Sailfish releases.
Also they scored two nice eating fish: a nice sized Wahoo early in the trip and a beefy Dorado on the back end.
This is the first of three scheduled trips on the Explorer for Richard and Jean…look out for more great action from these Floridians.
Jennifer and Shannon Gonzalez torched the blue water creatures with Captain David on the Explorer on March 17.
The Sailfish have been thick recently and the Super Panga capitalized with several super releases.
The only thing that interrupted the Sailifsh swarm was this gargantuan Wahoo:
That is a legitimate deck sweeper!
These tough anglers kept the pedal to the metal with more Sailfish releases to finish off the trip.
Excellent performance by Captain David and Mate Kevin on the legendary Explorer.
