The Wanderer kicked off the new season with Elisabeth Toft’s group scoring a raft of Dorado catches.
Great work by these ladies to bring home a full filet bag.
Master Captain William took the Wanderer out on October 4 and lit up the scoreboard with an awesome Blue Marlin release.
After the safe release, Paul Norris’ group also brought home the bacon with some excellent Yellowfin Tunas.
Here is what Paul had to say after the trip: “Great day fishing! 1st Marlin, 1st Sailfish, then we caught 4 yellowfin tuna and 4 Dorado (mahi mahi).
“I can’t thank Daradee Olson enough for being a trooper and falling in love with my passion for fishing. She killed it!”
Dan Johnson from Hatteras, NC finished up his 23rd full day of fishing with FishingNosara since the end of the pandemic (Oct. 1, 2021).
He was joined by friends Captain David Barrantes (of the Adventurer), Toni Bustos, Danny Jiron, and Bryan Gomez.
They had a great catch of Red Groupers and Congrio.
Also, they had a Blue Marlin crash the left teaser three times but it wouldn’t take the pitch bait. About 15 minutes later a Blue Marlin attacked the right long teaser and after a few jumps rushed the boat and bit the hook in half.
Dan Johnson from Hatteras NC took friends Antonio Carrillo Carrillo, David Barrantes, and Diddier Gutierrez for a full day fishing on the
Wanderer.
They caught 21 Red Groupers, two Congrios, one Dorado, and 20 Pochotes.
The whole crew and other guests enjoyed the catch prepared at Marlin Bill‘s Restaurant
Dan Johnson from Hatteras, NC took friend Manuel Obando and Antonio Carrillo Carrillo for a full day on the Wanderer, they caught bottom fish an 9 Yellowfin Tunas and enjoyed eating some of the catch at Marlin Bills Restaurant.
The Wanderer welcomed a nice group of very special guests on September 1. Antonio Carrillo and his fellow officers from the Polica Turistica (the guys from the airport) for a great day of Red Grouper catching.

The Wanderer closed out the season with Nigel Phillip’s fourth trip of the week. They started out with a tasty Dorado on ice.
Then they belted up for a fantastic Sailfish battle.
After the safe release, they scored the best fish of the week with this awesome Blue Marlin release.
Nigel Phillips’ group continued to bend rods on August 28. The Wanderer reports several nice Dorado and a tasty Rainbow Runner on ice.
The Wanderer tracked down a nice catch of Yellowfin Tuna on August 25 with our good friend Nigel Phillips.
The Daley group had a nice day on the Wanderer, with Master Captain William reporting a sweet Dorado for the dinner table.
