Our good friend and regular client Henry Doggrell was back on the Wanderer and his party had a real nice time. They cleaned up on the Black Tunas and White Tunas. Great work by boat, angler and crew. Pura Vida!
The Explorer is busy as heck these days. Yesterday client Erick caught 5 black tunas, 5 jacks and a nice little needle fish. Conditions are finally getting right and we are looking forward to starting 2011 with a bang. Pura Vida!
Looks like the Blue Water has arrived! Clients John and Mary in the Wanderer caught 12 Yellowfin tunas rounding 10 to 25lbs. They also caught a 30lbs. Dorado and a 50 lbs. Hamberjack!
Over on the Explorer clients Andrew and Jay on the caught 7 white tunas and 8 black tunas. Looks like things are about to get hot! Pura Vida!
In late November we made a great new friend named Jeff Grosshandler from New Jersey. Jeff is a very interesting fellow who is currently organizing a new development in Nosara’s K section. A financial wiz and an avid surfer, Mr. Grosshandler will surely become a familiar face around Nosara for years to come.
He has booked several trips in the last few weeks with the FishingNosara team, and this 35lbs. Dorado and tasty white tuna are just a sampling of his great catches. Pura Vida Jeff!
Captian William and the crew of the Wanderer are back on the water and catching some serious fish. After one year of service, this 31′ T-Craft has been freshly painted and armed with new tackle from Star Rods, Penn, Shimano and a whole array of Williamson Jet Poppers.
You will not find a better-armed boat in all of Costa Rica.
On October 30th, the Wanderer was fresh off the hill and got her first action with our family from Nosara Paradise Rentals: General Manager Javier, his brothers Grevan and Eduardo, Marlon the painter, and friends Carolina and Emily. They had a great time and caught a nice Amberjack and a few White Tuna. The staff of Nosara Paradise Rentals work year round to keep our clients smiling…it’s great to see them smiling big as well!
On June 23rd client TJ Boulware and his party were on the Wanderer for a 2.5 hour sunset cruise and caught three decent-sized Yellowfin tunas.
These sunset cruises are a great chance for novice anglers to get a feel for fishing without the expense of a full day trip. Our crews are excellent teachers of the craft of fishing and they speak very good English.
Even if you have little or no experience on the water FishingNosara’s Captains can deliver for you the fishing trip of a lifetime. Clearly from these pictures these ladies got the fishing bug and will no doubt find themselves on the water really soon.
Recently Renee Taylor and family booked the Wanderer on June 16th and had a magnificent day. They released a 250lbs. Striped Marlin and a 120lbs. Sailfish and a nice Yellowfin tuna to the mix…call this a perfect end to a great month of fishing.
This bite should hold well into September, but dates are filling up fast so don’t delay, book today!
Renee Taylor and her family’s incredible catches just goes to show that with proper tackle and a strong boat anybody can catch the fish of a lifetime with FishingNosara!
June 10th was a chance for the staff of Nosara Paradise Rentals to get out on the water and do a little ‘research’ for the company. General Manager Javier Hernandez, Concierge Manuel DeCampos, and Chief Groundskeeper Grevin Hernandez had great success on a three-hour sunset cruise.
They caught seven 20lbs. Yellowfin tunas, a 15lbs. Ponpano, a 12lbs. Amberjack, and a 12lbs. Rainbow runner. Our staff is the best in the business and they can fish!
On April 26th clients Dwayne and Katrina fishing for a half-day on the reefs. They applied our FishingNosara Cuberra Tactic and caught a beautiful 30lbs. Cuberra snapper. They rounded out their day with four sweet whites tunas.
The Wanderer welcomed Mikaela, Abby, and friends for an excellent sunset cruise.
These girls are from Middlebury College (VT) and are teaching English at the Nosara Library for free. Joined by Manuel they caught a couple black tunas and lost a big fish. They also were delighted by a huge school of dolphins. FishingNosara supports the local schools and we are pleased to see such nice young ladies providing this valuable service to our community.
