Bridget Sprague’s group struck again on June 25 with another boatload of Yellowfin Tunas on the deck.
They also nabbed some schoolie Dorados toย add variety to the haul.
Allan Boegner had a big day with Captain Carlos on the Discoverer highlighted by these whopper Yellowfin Tunas:
Later in the day they moved inshore and scored a big Rooster Fish release. Nice work by Captain David (of the Adventurer) to release this fish safely.
Bridget Sprague brought the whole family down for a week of fishing in late June, and got the ball rolling with a wonderful day on the Wanderer with Captain William.
Yellowfin Tuna have been stacked-up recently and the flagship is on the scene to help them find the icebox.
Great work by Team Sprague to fill the refrigerator.
Once again Captain William shows that he has the tools and talent to score for his clients.
Captain William welcomed Lake City, FL angler Bruce Park and his group for a very memorable day of offshore action on June 19.
The highlight of the day was this supreme Black Marlin release. This fierce fight was kept under 60 minutes due to Captain William’s masterful boat handling.
Other scores from this trip included this monster Yellowfin Tuna backed up by several smaller Yellas.
Ricky Hamblin scored more Yellowfin Tuna on his final trip of the week after posting similarly strong results on the Harvester and Discoverer.
James Griffin logged a 6.5 hour trip on the Discoverer and was rewarded with some decent Yellowfin Tuna scores.
Ricky Hamblin turned in a nice day on the Discoverer with a excellent haul of Yellowfin Tuna filets on June 15.
Captain Fico kept up the consistency on June 13 with angler Christopher Kellogg reporting a swarm of Yellowfin Tuna on ice.
Captain David welcomed Jose Soto of California for a wonderful day of inshore action, highlighted by these nice Snappers.
They also nabbed a Yellowfin Tuna for good measure.
Excellent work by the switchblade.
Jacksonville’s own Brian Dutcher, Jose, and Bubba from the Lil’ Hooker Fishing Team had a big time on board the Discoverer as Captain Carlos kept them on the fish.
Spinning porpoise pods led the way to the action and the weapon of choice was top-water plugs on spinning tackle.
These guys could barely get the hooks back in the water before enduring another wave of Yellowfin Tuna attacks.
With all these Tunas on ice, Mate Kevin was more than willing to share his fileting duties with Mr. Dutcher.
All in a day’s work for the big battleship Discoverer.
