Sonny Strohl and his buddies turned in an excellent day of action with Captain Carlos on the Adventurer. They stayed close to shore and scored a nice Dorado and a few tasty Yellowfin Tunas.
Pretty sweet filets on ice for Sonny and the boys, thanks to the 23-foot pocket knife.
Client Michael Quigley and his lady started their trip with a MASSIVE Sailfish released just two miles from shore.
They followed up with a GIANT Snapper…we think it is a Cubera but we have never seen this shade of red before; perhaps is is a Mangrove Snapper but who cares? Look at the size of this beast:
They rounded out the trip with a gaggle of Yellowfin Tunas on ice.
This is the kind of day we expect from big offshore battle wagons, but the amazing Captain Carlos is coaxing this kind of action very close to shore in a 23-foot vessel; we can’t wait to see what the switchblade pries up next!
The Adventurer welcomed David Kronk and his friend for a 6.5 hour trip to the blue water, and their haul was highlighted by the biggest Wahoo of the year so far:
These Michigan-based anglers weren’t done stacking the fishbox as they tossed in a few football-sized Yella Fellas for good measure.
Great day on the water by Captain Carlos and the 23-foot switchblade.
Kevin Daly and his buddy took the to ultimate two-man fishing vessel the Adventurer and their 2.5 hours on the water yielded an excellent selection of Tunas
Two Whites and a Yella Fella mean good eatin’ for these boys! Nice job by Captain Carlos to get his clients on the fish.
Justin Morris and his girl hit on four different species of tasty fish with Captain Carlos on the Adventurer.
This beefy Dorado was the first catch of the day, but by no means was the biggest…get a load of this 30lbs. Cubera Snapper:
They rounded out the day with a perfect-for-sushi Yellowfin Tuna and the elusive Yellowtail Snapper. Both of these fish add a fantastic variety to the dinner table.
Great work by Captain Carlos and the excellent 23-foot Adventurer.
Brandon Leon enlisted the Adventurer for and inshore fish hunt and pulled in some real monsters. The highlight was this monsterous Amberjack. This is the largest AJ ever caught on the Adventurer, but we say all the time “Big fish don’t care how big your boat is!”
They also followed up with a big Yellowfin Tuna and a very nice Cubera Snapper.
Once again Captain Carlos delivers great action for his anglers…fantastic work by the 23-foot pocket knife.
John Hicks and his posse had a huge day on the Wanderer with big catches of Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna punctuated by a swarm of Sailfish releases.
First Mate Alex stocked the baitwell with live mullet and Captain William set course for Sailfish City.
In total this group tallied four big Sailfish releases.
A welcome suprise to our fishery recently are the ever-growing Yellowfin Tuna. Usually the Yella Fellas are scarce until March, but this year they are early.
Excellent day of multi-species action for the John Hicks group.
David Pippins’ boys hail from the heart of Jacksonville, FL and they turned in a very productive half-day on the Super Panga Explorer with Captain David. They boated a pair of thick Dorados, then backed it up with a smaller duo of Yellowfin Tuna.
Great work by the barroom brawler and these boys from our backyard!
