The Wanderer welcomed angler Trap Puckette for a fun day of fishing on March 28. Check out this sweet Sailfish release:

Kathy and Steve Cartier finished off their record-setting week of fishing with a sweet Double Sailfish release on March 28.

After the tricky Double release, the big battleship also delivered a couple more Sailfish catches.

The send off for Team Cartier was this excellent Dorado; perfect for the end of week dinner!

Our new pal Chuck Boyer took a day off from his retreat over at Blue Spirit to pursue Blue Marlin, and the barroom brawler Explorer delivered the goods. Check out this beast:

They followed up with multiple nice Sailfish releases:

Amazing day of fishing — Fico & Johnny took great care of me! I really appreciate their patience w/ my limited spanish, but we made it work. My only regret was not being able to take a couple lovely Mahi filets into Nosara for a nice dinner.
Thanx to the Fishing Nosara Team for an awesome experience!
Chuck
(That’s “Senor Carlos” to Fico & Johnny)
All honest true praise!
My thanks also to Matt, Javier, & Yoseth for taking care of my local logistics. It’s those seemingly little tasks that can also make or break how a day kicks off.
You’ve got a top notch local family!

The Adventurer finished the month with another unbelievable Sailfish release.

Captain David delivered the unimaginable in the morning, and then in the afternoon did more standard Adventurer-things…delivering tasty filets for his clients.

Great job by Captain David!
Captain Carlos nagged more great Sailfish releases on the 27th.

Excellent catches by the big battleship Discoverer!
Rob Young joined the flagship Wanderer on the 26th and they started the day off right with this nice Sailfish release.

The real monster of the day was this MONSTER Dorado.

Estimated well over 70lbs., this massive Mahi Mahi will keep everyone full for quite a while. Plus is was followed up by other nice specimens:

The Harvester and angler John Baumgart scored the first big haul of the season for Yellowfin Tuna.

We have scored scattered Yellowfins this year, but not this big or numerous.

This is a great sign of the second high season which is right around the corner.

The last fish of the day was also the last fish ever for this rod which snapped off under pressure…that’s what happens when you battle the world’s baddest fish!
However the fish didn’t fare much better than the rod:

Ken Russell and Larry Komenda left the women and children at home on the 26th and enlisted Captain David to knock off a bucket-list item…Check out this awesome Rooster Fish release:

Kathy and Steve Cartier enlisted the big battleship for a full day of fish-fighting on March 26. Check out this mammoth Blue Marlin release:

After the world-class billfish release for the trophy case, Team Cartier nagged a bunch of Yellowfin Tunas for the refrigerator.

The Explorer delivered the catch-of-a-lifetime for this fun fishing family on March 25.

Double Sailfish releases are tricky, but Mate Johnny stayed calmed and ensured the safe release of both fish.

Great work by Captain Fico and the Explorer!
