Our good friend and regular client Henry Doggrell was back on the Wanderer and his party had a real nice time. They cleaned up on the Black Tunas and White Tunas. Great work by boat, angler and crew. Pura Vida!

Steve Levine is in town and has his sights set on some great fishing. He starts his first of three days on the Wanderer tomorrow, and today he had a great day on the Explorer.

He released a BIG sailfish and lost a 500lbs Black Marlin. The fish through out the hook while tailwalking. Keep an eye right here for pictures and more reports. Pura Vida!
Ron and Katherine booked the Wanderer and their party came home with a wide variety of fish. To the left, a nice Yellowfin Tuna. Below is a 20-25lbs. Cuberra snapper; not the biggest one we’ve seen but certainly just as tasty. Beneath that is a nice little Amberjack.
All of these fish are great as sushi or as table fare, and I’m sure that nobody went hungry on this night!

Our good friend Eduardo Barrios is back in Nosara. With several trips on the Wanderer under his belt, Sr. Barrios was itching to try the new Explorer. He brought his youngest daughter out and Captain David put them on some fish early and often.
“Lost track of how many black tuna,” writes Eduardo. “At least 10 plus one jack and two snappers. And of course we lost several great hits that we just couldn’t get any leverage on. Below is a pic of what we took home.”

“We also had the opportunity to see a few sting rays, a whale, lots of turtles and dolphin. My daughter absolutely loved it.”
Tara Barnes’ family was on the Wanderer for a half-day of fishing to close out 2010. The crew stayed inshore and caught several tunas highlighted by four big Yellowfins. Great trip from one of our favorite clients. Pura Vida!

The Explorer is busy as heck these days. Yesterday client Erick caught 5 black tunas, 5 jacks and a nice little needle fish. Conditions are finally getting right and we are looking forward to starting 2011 with a bang. Pura Vida!

On December 28 client Eric was on board the Explorer with his sons and they had a fabulous amount of action. They caught five Black Tunas, five Jacks, and a feisty little needle fish.

Tody client Steve Mears on the Wanderer released 250lbs Blue Marlin, and over on the Cabo, Captain Vibert and client Dick Stacey caught 8 tunas and a Porgy fish.

One last note for everyone who is buried in snow right now: Nosara Weather Report…..Low of 75f, High of 95f, 60% Humidity, No Rain.

Pura vida!!!
Looks like the Blue Water has arrived! Clients John and Mary in the Wanderer caught 12 Yellowfin tunas rounding 10 to 25lbs. They also caught a 30lbs. Dorado and a 50 lbs. Hamberjack!

Over on the Explorer clients Andrew and Jay on the caught 7 white tunas and 8 black tunas. Looks like things are about to get hot! Pura Vida!

Client Steve Mears and his son joined Captain William and Alex for a day of billfish hunting, and the trip was a great success. Check out this 250lbs. Blue Marlin!

These majestic fish are incredibly challenging to catch and release, but the Wanderer is well-equipped to safely handle these marine monsters. Hopefully the blue water will continue to approach the shore and these kind of catches will become more frequent as the season rolls on.
If you want to catch the fish of a lifetime in Costa Rica, go with the best boat for the job: Captain William and First Mate Alex are ready to make your dreams come true on the Wanderer.
