These Euros are absolutely amazing on the inshore species…on January 11 Captain David and the Adventurer iced the rare and elusive Congrio:
This hybrid fish/eel yields a white lobster-ish meat that is truly world class. Also they are fun to fight because they can swim backwards.
Later in the day they released a nice Rooster fish.
Another great day for Team de Wit and the Adventurer.
Captain David scored this beauty with the Andre de Wit group on January 10:
Andre de Wit’s group of extreme panga warriors continued their amazing run of inshore action on January 7 with Captain David on the Adventurer.
The early day action consisted of several sweet Rooster fish releases.
The unquestioned highlight of this excursion was this monstrous Queen Snapper:
Andre de Wit’s group has split up between the Adventurer and Explorer to maximize their coverage of the inshore reefs.

Local legend Alban Rodriguez joined Captain David on the Adventurer and KO’d a pair of big Amberjacks:

We were stoked to welcome some new European friends for a week of great inshore action on the Adventurer.
These hard-fishing folks found us through Tightlines NL and brought their ‘A’ game to the waters around Garza Bay.
These big Rooster fish releases were a sign of great things to come.
Their haul included lots of Spanish Mackerels, Jack Crevalles, and the ultra-rare Blue Jack Trevelly.
