The Adventurer scored another unique catch with the first big Broomtail Grouper of the season.
Very nice and very tasty!
El Jefe got out on the water to celebrate Easter with a fine Rooster Fish.
Nice catch by Javier and excellent fish-handling by Captain Fico on the release.
Captain Fico has become a sort-of advance scout for the FishingNosara team; last month he uncovered a pocket of Cuberas that the team stayed on for a few days, plus he scored an early-season Yellowfin Tuna.
Now he has popped the lid of the first can of Wahoo we’ve seen in a few months. Nice work by the trailblazing Adventurer.
Our main man Arturo took a break from running the North Guiones Beach office to do a little ‘research’ with Captain Fico on the Adventurer.
The little big man scored this hefty Rooster fish, then followed it up with a tasty Cubera Snapper for the dinner table.
Great work by Numero Uno!
The Adventurer scored big again on March 21st will a wide haul of filets.
They scored a Cubera Snapper early in the trip and followed in up with a beefy Cierro Mackeral.
This is certainly an above-average size for this tasty species. The final fish of the day was another big Cubera.
Small boat, big fish…just another day for the 23-foot Adventurer.
Captain Fico has the Adventurer dialed-in and clients are reaping the rewards. Check out this excellent Rooster fish release:
They also scored a nice 25lbs. Cubera Snapper for the fishbox.
Great action from the powerful pocket-knife.
Hands down the best fish of the month for the Adventurer was this mammoth Cubera Snapper score on March 16.
Easily tipping the scales at 50+lbs., this is the kind of fish the Adventurer was made for:
Wonderful work by the fast-rising Captain Fico!
The Adventurer scored an Amberjack for the record books on March 15. Look at the girth on this monster:
We say it all the time, you don’t need a big boat to catch big fish in Nosara! Great work by Captain Fico and the switchblade Adventurer.
Captain Fico scored again for his clients on March 11, with a handful of White Tunas on ice. These little morsels yield a dense white meat that is perfect for sushi, filets, and ceviche.
Yellowfin Tuna and Amberjack were on the menu for the Adventurer on March 9, with beefy filets on ice for these smiling clients.
Great job Captain Fico!
