David and Kevin Paredes joined the Discoverer for an amazing day of blue water action on August 11. These early-in-the-day Sailfish releases were the icebreaker.
Then the big fish of the day came calling…look at this monster 100+lbs. Yellowfin Tuna.

Captain Carlos has been magical in mid-August with a swarm of Sailfish releases reported on the big battleship Discoverer.
Wonderful fish handling by Mate Kevin on these safe releases.
The Discoverer also melted plenty of ice with these Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas applying the heat.

Texas angler Wayne Voswinkel has returned for more blue water action. This time he scored a big Sailfish release, backed up by some nice Yellowfin Tunas.

John Johnson and Anita Walker joined the Discoverer on the 26th for a morning half day, and despite the short duration they still managed a pair of Sailfish releases.
Who knows how many big fish they left out there because of the short trip.

Kathleen Clarke came to us as a novice angler, but after her trip on the Discoverer she has cut her teeth as a big-time blue water angler.
These Sailfish put on a great show and the releases were quick and easy.
She wrote us a very nice email:
“Just wanted to let you know that we had an incredibly amazing time on our fishing trip. I don’t think that it could have been any better. Captain Carlos and Kevin were stellar – I would highly recommend that crew to anyone. ”
“All 5 in our party caught fish and we were not expecting to. Kevin kept the boat very clean and tidy and made sure that we all had everything that we needed. Lunch was excellent also, as was the fruit. We caught a mix of mahi-mahi and sailfish. We saw porpoises and turtles too.”

The Discoverer welcomed Eric Melanie and Titus Etters on July 22 and they notched the scorecard with a bunch of nice Sailfish releases.
They also added meat to the menu a big Yellowfin Tuna and a nice Dorado on ice.
