This is a great time of year because you can catch Yellowfin Tuna one day and Dorado the next day, all using the same tactics and same spread.
These big Dorados are a welcome addition to the dinner table.
Of course any trip on the Harvester isn’t complete without a sweet Sailfish release.
Excellent work by Captain Alex!
Paul Arthur and his fishing buddy Ricky Kay upped the ante on their second day of fishing, with TWO Marlin releases backed up by one of the biggest Dorados we’ve ever seen.
Want to get a sweet fishing jersey like this one? We don’t make them so you can’t, unless you are like Paul Arthur’s group and get your own made in advance of your trip.
Three Marlin releases in less than two days is a remarkable feat, but when you add in this MONSTER Dorado you get the definition of a perfect fishing day:
Amazing action from the mega panga Harvester!

After several big Dorado scores, Mike deployed the flyrod to nabbed another tasty Mahi.
Great work by this fun group of Canadian anglers
The Harvester kept up the pressure on the 29th with a haul that may put the fish market out of business. Look at this whopper of a Dorado:
This was backed up with some smaller but equally tasty Dorados for the kids.
Naturally the mega panga wasn’t leaving without scoring a nice Sailfish release for the scrapbook.
Great job!
FishingNosara Hall of Famer Chuck Darner invited Florida Sportsman Radio host Roger Walker for a fun week of action.
After lighting it up on the Harvester on the 23rd, they moved up to the Wanderer for a productive day offshore on the 24th. Roger got it started with this nice big Dorado.
Chris nabbed this schoolie Dorado, then hooked up a nice Sailfish.
Nice clean release by Mate Johnson of this monsters.
Then Captain William headed offshore and pursued a big school of porpoises. When they are packed in this thick you know that there is something tasty just beneath the surface.
Chuck Darner got in on the feeding frenzy with this sweet Dorado.
Then Roger Walker got in on the action with this beefy Yellowfin Tuna, clearly the best fish of the day:
Near the end of the day Chris hooked up another big Sailfish, which put on an aerial display on the way to a safe release.
Great work by Captain William to deliver the goods for these Northeast Florida angling legends.
Timothy Mueller signed up with the Discoverer for blue water action on the 23rd, and the battleship delivered the goods with this nice Sailfish release:
The rods stayed bent into the afternoon, with reports of nice Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado scores.
Excellent work by Captain Carlos!
Craig Sutton bests two blue water beasties on April 22. Both safe released as always by Captain Alex.
Jason Alexander got his week off to a fast start with Captain William reporting a nice Sailfish release on April 22.
After the safe release these Texas anglers added a nice Dorado for the dinner table.
Excellent work by the mighty Wanderer.
Captain Alex delivered the good on a late-afternoon 2.5 hour trip with angler Tillman Saylor reporting a great Rooster Fish release.
That’s an amazing score in such a short time. Great work by the Harvester!
