Bridget Sprague’s group struck again on June 25 with another boatload of Yellowfin Tunas on the deck.
They also nabbed some schoolie Dorados toย add variety to the haul.
Mike Borrom and his son came down to Nosara for a bit of fishing in mid-June, and on the 10th they nabbed a nice Dorado.
The Tallahassee Offshore Mafia is back in the house, led by returning Hall of Famer Chuck Harris.
These Florida anglers have made fishing in a June a tradition for several years and are primed for another great week of action.
They scored some nice-sized Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados to start the trip, then finished the day inshore with a wonderful Cubera Snapper:
A quartet of anglers led by Bill Hogan got a little bit of everything with the Wanderer on June 8.
They started out with a gaggle of nice Yellowfin Tunas on ice.
They also added a tasty Dorado for good measure.
Team Hogan closed out the day with a pair of Sailfish releases…that’s a full day of fishing action!

The Harvester welcomed one of FishingNosara’s oldest friends Roche Jaggeli of Playa Avellanas for a great day of action on June 6.
Roche has fished with us since the very beginning of FishingNosara and it’s always a treat when he comes south to visit us.
The day’s haul was highlighted by three big Yellowfin Tunas (60lbs., 34lbs., and 26lbs.) and of course the MASSIVE 54lbs. Dorado.
Captain Carlos finished off the month of May with a strong day of action with angler Greg Fritsch.
They nabbed a Sailfish release and filled the fishbox with three 12lbs. Yellowfin Tunas and this 20+lbs. Dorado:
The Discoverer welcomed angler Catherine for a morning half-day trip and came away with some excellent Dorado filets:
The battleship Discoverer found gold on its May 23 trip with anglers Rick Riley and David BiStarkey.
The rains early in the month has washed dead trees offshore, and wherever they float an entire marine ecosystem grows in their shadow.
Captain Carlos circled this tree for the better part of the day and piled the fishbox high with five 20lbs. Dorados and twenty 5lbs. Dorados…do the math on that one!

Joseph Caveness and his family chose the Wanderer on May 18 and the family-friendly flagship scored a wide variety of fun fish.
Joe started the day with a nice 20lbs. Yellowfin Tuna and then the kids took over the reel, scoring this nice Dorado.
Captain William moved inshore in the afternoon and young Mr. Caveness scored a small Bonita and a nice Yellowfin.
This 25lbs. Wahoo provided more diversity tot the filet bag, and is a welcome surprise to find this close to shore.
The fish of the day was scored by Mama Bear in the form of this wonderful Rooster fish release.
All in all it’s a great day of family fun on the famous flagship!
FishingNosara Hall of Famer TJ Conrads returned to Nosara with his wife Robin along with Kevin and Karen Bahr. They chose the Wanderer and scored a boatload of sweet fish filets.
Captain William located a massive school of spinning porpoises and the fish were excited to escape the cetaceans…right into the flagship’s fishbox!
In all they scored six Yellowfin Tuna averaging 20lbs., three small Dorado and a nice 20lbs. Dorado.
