Cole Clarkson and his family scored a wonderful Marlin release with the Discoverer on August 25.
After the trophy release, they added a nice Dorado for the dinner table. Excellent work by this Virginia-based fishing family.
The Harvester scored big on August 22 with a nice-sized Yellowfin Tuna and a tasty Dorado on ice.
The Daley group had a nice day on the Wanderer, with Master Captain William reporting a sweet Dorado for the dinner table.
The Explorer and Juan Levesque continued to dominate on August 19. A bunch of late-season Dorados are a welcome surprise.
They also added a big Yellowfin Tuna to the filet bag.
Our good friends Doug and Barbara Levalley returned for a quick 5 day trip in late August. On their first day fishing the Discoverer gave them all the filets they can eat plus some to take home:
A super-size Dorado was backed up with a beefy Yellowfin Tuna. Awesome job by Captain Carlos!
The Harvester delivered a wonderful Dorado for angler Hashem Nahid on August 17.
Avid outdoorsman Juan Levesque returned for a bout of blue water fishing on August 17.
The Explorer found that MONSTER Dorado were all over the place and took advantage of these late-season beauties.
The big battleship Discoverer scored a few nice Yellowfin Tunas on the 16th with angler John Barry.
Here’s what John had to say after the trip: “We had a fantastic trip these guys are true professionals – I brought my mom along with me who did not want to fish and they communicated with me before and after the trip to ensure she had a good time. She had a fanatics time, even ended up in the battle chair fighting a tuna I bet I could even get her to get out again. We caught a bunch of Yellowfin + fought a sailfish we just lost.”
Captain Wilson was on fire in mid-August…he released another MONSTER Marlin with angler Cliff Quick on the 11th.
Mr. Quick also came home with filets, courtesy of this nice Dorado:
Central Florida angler Mark Shugg stepped up the Harvester on August 9 and boat a MONSTER Dorado:
Young Mr. Shugg scored a ‘small’ Dorado, but it’s only small compared to the first fish.
This Wahoo is legitimately small (for us, at least) but will filet up into a pair of tasty white-meat steak all the same.
