Wanna skip Sea World? Check out this pod of Orca playing around with 32 foot Harvester. You never know what you’ll see offshore of Nosara…Great to see these beauties in the wild.

After this fun nature sighting, the Harvester got down to business with Craig Sutton and Rodger Dwork reporting excellent fishing results.

These Dorados are a treat, but nothing compared to these big swole Yellowfin Tunas:

Great work by Captain Alex and the Mega Panga.

January 14, 2019

Captain Alex was deep in the battle on January 14 as client Kevin Poindexter threw down with an sweet Blue Marlin.

Mate Kevin estimated this beast at a little over 300lbs. Safe released alive and kicking as usual.

The big Marlin was the headliner, but it was supported by this excellent Sailfish release.

This high-flyer put on a nice show with lots of above-the-water action.

They finally outlasted this Sailfish, and brought home lots of nice photos of the fight.

This group rounded out their day with a nice Dorado and a sweet Yellowfin Tuna. Good thing, because it’s easy to work up a big appetite when catching all day long!

The Harvester welcomed FishingNosara Hall of Famer and Northeast FishingNosara Representative Mark Cooney for an excellent day of catching on the 12th.

BIG Yellowfin Tunas put the mega panga (and her tackle) to the test. Look at this rod-snapping catch:

The Harvester‘s “Never Surrender” attitude was on display at this 40+lbs. Yellowfin managed to break a rod, but not break the mega panga’s spirit.

Later in the day the fish got bigger for Team Cooney.

With tons of Yellowfin Tuna on ice, the ocean changed it up and providedย  lovely Dorado scores.

Fantastic work by Captain Alex and the Harvester!

Captain Alex welcomed Gage Bonestroo and his son for a fun day of catching on January 7. Big Dorado kept these boys busy.

Always fun to see a young angler enjoying the craft of sportfishing. Here’s what Gage had to say:

Took my 6 year old son on his first offshore fishing trip with Alex on the Harvester. It was one hell of a day! Captain and first mate worked hard to put us on fish… and they did! Great lunch and friendly crew. Thanks Craig for a seemless experience. Top notch.
