Great work by Captain Alex and the People’s Champion Harvester!
Back in 2012 we hosted the Ganoe family of Jacksonville, FL as the winners of the initial FishingNosara Family Cup presented by Jax Kayak.
Little did we know then that Maegan Ganoe would chose Nosara as the spot to get married to her now-husband Jose Morales:
Of course no trip to Nosara is complete without a fishing mission, and the newlyweds took to the Harvester on May 17 for and incredible day of blue water action.
The headliner of this trip was a big Blue Marlinย that snagged THREE! baits simultaneously…fortunately Mate Wilson took command of the cockpit and kept all three anglers on the same page.
What a monstrous fish, and a great release by Captain Alex.
“Thank you Alex for putting us on this huge Blue Marlin to celebrate Dads birthday & wrap up our wedding week here in Nosara! It took Jose, Daniel & I over 30min to reel it in! ?? Blue Marlin off our bucket list”
Later the mother of the bride Melita Ganoe nagged dinner in the form of this nice Dorado:
Best of luck to the happy new couple from FishingNosara.
David MacGregor and his friends enlisted the Harvester for an action-packed half day on May 6.
Everyone got a crack at big Dorados, with several sweet specimens on ice by trip’s end.
Great work by the mega panga Harvester and Captain Alex.
Captain Alex finished the month of April on a hot streak. Check out these awesome Sailfish releases from the mega panga Harvester.
As the summer season begins we expect that the billfish will be extra energized, now that their bait diet consists of BIG Yellowfin Tunas.
Jason Stote tipped the scales on the 24th with potentially the biggest Yellowfin Tuna of the season.
This monster was followed up by several other big Yella Fellas, which on many other days would be the big fish in the box.
Later on the hooked up a nice Sailfish for a fun battle.
Check out the Wanderer keeping an eye on the fight in the background.
Both of these sweet billfish were safely released as always.
The Harvester continued championship-level fishing on the 23rd with Angie Taylor’s group scoring early and often.
A great Sailfish was backed up by several excellent Yellowfin Tunas.
The big fish of the day was an awesome Dorado.
Jacksonville, FL anglers Bill and Nancy Neal put in a big day of work on Easter Sunday with Captain Alex reporting crazy energetic Sailfish action.
These monsters were fired up and put on an aerial display for the ages.
Awesome work by Captain Alex and the mega panga Harvester!
Leo Folse came back for more mega panga mayhem on the 15th, starting with a nice Sailfish release:
A wonderful Dorado followed, providing excellent eating for this fun Florida fishing couple.
On April 14, our friend Leo Folse finally made his pilgrimage to the mega panga Harvester.
Mr. Folse is a serious panga enthusiast and was so impressed with the performance of the 32-foot Eduardono hull that he purchased two Eduardono hulls for himself.
Captain Alex and the Harvester certainly met his expectations with a bunch of Sailfish releases.
Just two days removed from the tournament win, the Harvester welcomed Skip Sandell on the 9th and his posse put a whoppin’ on the Sailfish.
