Captain Alex kept the pressure on the Yellowfin tuna with more great catches reported in early June.
Awesome work by the mega panga!
On June 1, the Harvester went hunting with client Bryan Wood and can home with a wonderful haul of Yellowfin Tunas.
“Thanks to the crew on the Harvester today!” Bryan posted to Facebook. “Got supper but I lost the Marlin for you guys. My bad but we had a great day and a great crew! Thx again FishingNosara and we hope to come back soon!”
Captain Alex scored an amazing Marlin release on the Harvester to put a fitting ending on a great month of fishing.
What a monster!
Mark Rogers and the boys had a big day with Captain Alex on the Harvester, punctuated by big Yellowfin Tuna catches backed up with lots of Sailfish releases.
After all of the Yellowfin Tunas were iced and filets, the mega panga put in work with a bunch of nice Sailfish action.
Mark Rogers got his week started right with Captain Alex reporting multiple Sailfish releases on May 20.
The second Sailfish release was a high-flying beast that put the Harvester to the test.
In addition to the trophy releases, the mega panga nabbed a boatload of Yellowfin Tunas. Great eats ahead for Mark Rogers and his posse.
Captain Alex kept the coals burning on May 17 with this sweet Sailfish release:
After the billfish was swimming free, the Harvester followed the dolphin schools and snagged dinner in the form of fresh Yellowfin Tuna.
This is a great time of year because you can catch Yellowfin Tuna one day and Dorado the next day, all using the same tactics and same spread.
These big Dorados are a welcome addition to the dinner table.
Of course any trip on the Harvester isn’t complete without a sweet Sailfish release.
Excellent work by Captain Alex!
Paul Arthur and his fishing buddy Ricky Kay upped the ante on their second day of fishing, with TWO Marlin releases backed up by one of the biggest Dorados we’ve ever seen.
Want to get a sweet fishing jersey like this one? We don’t make them so you can’t, unless you are like Paul Arthur’s group and get your own made in advance of your trip.
Three Marlin releases in less than two days is a remarkable feat, but when you add in this MONSTER Dorado you get the definition of a perfect fishing day:
Amazing action from the mega panga Harvester!
Captain Alex welcomed anglers Paul Arthur and Ricky Kay for a four-day fishing mission, and early on in their adventure they ran into some hungry world-class billfish.
This high-flying Blue Marlin was the highlight of their first day on May 12, which also featured three Sailfish releases.
Excellent hunting by Captain Alex and safe fish handling by Captain David (on loan from the Adventurer) means that these big boys will be around to be caught again in the future.
Great job by the Harvester!
On May 7 Captain Alex whipped up a Yellowfin Tuna feeding frenzy on the Harvester. Check out these excellent catches:
Our old pal TJ Conrads was on the scene to welcome these Yella Fellas.
