Theย Wanderer hosted a nice family day of fishing on March 15. They kept the rods bent with a lot of White Tunas and Bonitas snatched up near-shore.
With kids, sometimes is best to target easy-to-catch small fish than the big offshore monsters; it’s easier to teach the youngsters proper technique on more a more forgiving quarry.

The mighty flagshipย Wanderer welcomed anglers from Cristen Shaver’s group on January 30 for an amazing run of catches.
This fired-up Blue Marlin release is a thing of beauty.
After the safe release they filled the filet bag with some nice Dorado and White Tunas.
Captain David and Manny Rivera kept the coals burning on January 27 with an awesome Sailfish release on the 23-footย Adventurer.
Guess you don’t need a big boat to catch big fish in Costa Rica, huh?
This delectable White Tuna is a nice addition to Manny’s already-full filet bag.
Captain David picked up where he left off on December 1 with super-hot fishing. Joined by Mark Perdue, the sneaky switchblade scored this Sailfish release.
Theย Wanderer continued to score on the 28th with Jeff and Jessica Tomcsik nagging big Dorados and a nice White Tuna.
The Wanderer welcomed Graham Burton’s family for a quick 5 hour trip on November 23.
Despite the short trip, they went home with nice Dorado and White Tuna filets, and everyone got in on the action.
JR Barnes’ crew set their sights on meat fish on the 17th, and Captain Wilson put them on a rare delicacy…the White Tuna.
This great tasting fish was backed up by the more common Yellowfin Tuna:
The flagship stayed on the fish during her November 8th trip, releasing a nice Sailfish and adding a variety of small Tunas plus a Dorado to the fishbox.
