Master Captain William and the Wanderer delivered a monster Marlin release for Ken Russell on March 26.

What a great accomplishment! The Marlin release was backed-up with three nice Sailfish releases but Misti Nolan, Brenda Russell, and Larry ‘Captain Lorenzo’ Komenda.

For the fishbox they nagged six Yellowfin Tunas.

Great work by Team Russell

William Blocher scored TWO fish-of-a-lifetime on March 25 with Captain Fico reporting a pair of Marlin releases.

“Captain Fico put me on the fish straight away,” wrote Bill in an email.

Amazingly, this was on a 5 hour half day trip.

Excellent fish-handling by Mate Antonio to ensure the safe survival of this wonderful.

Also late in the day they hooked up another marlin estimated at 700lbs.-800lbs.

Touched the leader and released. Thought the only photo we have so far is this Bigfoot-esque blurry shot, this fish is a real monster.

The FishingNosara team hit a Marlin dry-spell in the middle of March, but Captain Fico on the Explorer scouted far offshore and found one on the 19th.

The very next day Captain Carlos capitilzed on that intelligence and found a Black Marlin of his own near the same area.

Teamwork makes the dream work, right?

After the Marlin release, Tom Schwaab’s group also scored a Sailfish release and put a few Yellowfin Tunas in the filet bag.

Great work by the big battleship Discoverer.

The Harvester battled a bunch of billfish with angler Sloan Roger’s group on the 13th. The highlight of their blue-water battles was this big Black Marlin release.

This monster Marlin release was the finale of a trip that also included a swarm of Sailfish releases.

Mate Wilson and Captain Alex had their hands full with these airborne Sailfish.

Great work by the mega panga and Sloan Rogers’ group!

Billy Meeks, Jeff Forrester, Collin Gibson, Derek Deyo, and Patrick were on board the Discoverer for the catch of a lifetime on February 2.

Get a load of this amazing Marlin release.

They also added a nice Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.

Great work by these Texas anglers.
