The Harvester had a big day with Jess Gingold’s family on the 13th; their morning 5 hour trip yielded a bunch of wild Sailfish releases.








John Egan’s group lit it up on the Harvester, scoring a swarm of Sailfish releases.








Mate Wilson put in a big day of work, safely handling and releasing all of this marine monsters.













All these trophy release can work up one’s appetite, but fortunately this Dorado will fill up the tired bellies of this crew.



On January 5 John Egan’s group joined Captain Alex , and he took the Harvester offshore for a duel in Sailfish City.






The day’s scorecard was dotted with hook-ups and releases, including some multiple strikes.




For the dinner table they added several Dorado including this floor-sweeper.

The Tri-Generational Scotty Moore group finished off their great fishing vacation with a bountiful trip on January 2.




Captain Alex reports that the fish of the day with this monster Dorado.




They also nagged a nice Yellowfin Tuna to add some variety to the fish bag.

The Harvester welcomed Bill Edmonds on the 30th, and they celebrated with an excellent Sailfish release.



Excellent work by Captain Alex to stay on the fish while avoiding a fluke December rainstorm.


Three generations of Scotty Moore’s family hit the water on the 28th for their first day of fishing in Costa Rica. Captain Alex and the Harvester were ready to rock and Team Moore stayed on the bite all day.


They scored multiple excellent Yellowfin Tunas. I think they got next year’s Christmas card ready to go!





Earlier in the day they boated a nice Dorado, also a tasty filet for the dinner table.

Captain Alex and the Harvester scored a Blue Marlin release on December 23. Get a look at this beauty:




Great job by Captain David (of the Adventurer) filling-in at the mate position. This monster was safely released as always.



The Coffey family brought home the bacon on December 17, with Captain Alex reporting a nice spread of Dorado and Yellowfin Tunas for the filet bag.




Excellent work by this young angler and the unstoppable Harvester.
Captain Alex and the Harvester delivered the fish of a lifetime on December 8. Legendary angler Dan Johnson was on the stick for this great Blue Marlin release along with Richard Fertig and Erica.

This wonderous Blue Marlin is an amazing specimen, and as usual was safely handled and released by Mate Wilson.







While most of our clients book their trips far in advance, we are always happen to serve walk-in customer who get the fishing bug.


On December 6, Douglas Warmke and Micheal Dall chose the Harvester and Captain Alex delivered the goods.


A nice Sailfish release was backed up with tasty catches of Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna.
