“Did battle with a huge marlin today for almost an hour before he broke off,” writes Robbie Parks in an email. “It made three greyhound runs for all of us to see.”

“Mate Juan Carlos said it was the biggest one he’d ever fought. Estimated at 900+ pounds.”

“It was a beast. Leviathan from the deep. Really whipped me. Captain Carlos and Juan Carlos were fantastic. The experience of a lifetime for me.”

Nathan Sylvester and his boys scored with the Wanderer reporting a Double Marlin release backed-up by several Sailfish releases:

The simultaneous Marlin hook-up is a whirlwind of action for even the most experienced anglers, but these youngsters handled it like old pros.

Fifteen minutes after the first release came the second; this mystery Marlin is either a small Blue Marlin, a large Striped Marlin, or the rare Hatchet Marlin.

They also scored a pair of Sailfish later in the trip, rounding out a truly memorable day of fishing.

Richard Mumford and Frank Gregg scored the fish of a lifetime with Captain Alex on the Harvester in the form of this 350+lbs. Black Marlin.

Amazing work by Mate Kevin to see to the safe release of this monster after almost two hours of battle.

As an added bonus they also nabbed this Dorado for the dinner table.

The Mega Panga is dialed-in and Captain Alex’ clients are reaping the rewards.

After a trip to the fish market, Laura and Mike headed offshore to find Sailfish City. Captain William led the way and the Wanderer proceeded to score big.

After the first two releases Mike Neeland added to his swollen Sailfish scorecard, and then Laura followed up with a nice fish of her own.

The big hit of the day with this small Striped Marlin; while not the biggest fish we’ve ever seen, this little Stripey still fought like a tiger.
