Steven Nelson and the Harvester when billfish hunting on Valentine’s day. The Sailfish were in the dancing mood and showed up with a lot of amorous energy.
Captain Alex and Mate Wilson are old pros at releasing Sailfish, but each one represents a fresh challenge. Of course all these billfish were safely released.

Robert Gensel’s family joined Captain Fico on the 11th and they pulled off three Sailfish releases.
They also added a big Dorado for the dinner table.
For the finale they moved inshore and released this nice little Rooster Fish.

Multiple Sailfish releases were backed up with a monster Dorado.
What a great catch! With the filets on ice, the ladies took a break from catching fish to move to the forward platform to catch some rays.

Andy and Wendy Alkire joined with Captain Alex on the 9th and they added to their Sailfish scorecard with multiple excellent releases.
Mate Wilson handled the Sailfish releases with aplomb, and the mega panga once again proved herself in blue-water battle.
There isn’t much blue water fishing in Kansas, but this group handled these monster like old pros.
