In addition to the sweet Marlin release, they also scored a tasty Dorado for the dinner table.
Howard Miller caught the fish of a lifetime during his February 11 trip on the Harvester. Check out this wonderful Blue Marlin release:
Scott Doherty and the Explorer released a beautiful Blue Marlin on February 7.
They also scored a nice pile of Dorados for the dinner table.
The Explorer welcomed Allen Smith for a fun day of Dorado action on January 22.
The Explorer and Team Van den Bogert released a wonderful Blue Marlin on January 19.
For the icebox they nabbed a few very nice Yellowfin Tunas.
They also scored a BIG Dorado. What an amazing haul for the barroom brawler Explorer.
Savka Rajkovic’s group won the Jacksonville, FL-based El Cheapo Sheepshead Tournament last February, and on January 18 they had a great day with the mighty flagship Wanderer.
They caught a bunch of Dorados to start the trip, then added a wonderful Sailfish release to the scorecard.
They came inshore at the end of the trip and released a nice Cubera Snapper:
Steven and Becky Jeans joined the Discoverer on the 18th and performed brilliantly. This nice Sailfish release was as great fish:
They also nagged a bunch of tasty Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.
They loaded up the fishbox and decided to release the fish caught late in the day.
The Van den Bogert group made the long journey from Europe to fish a full week on the Explorer. On their first day, they we welcomed to the blue water by this fired-up Striped Marlin:
This one spit the hook and escaped, but these anglers stayed vigilant and scored several nice Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.
On January 17 the Discoverer and angler Skip Hickson stayed hot with multiple 30lbs. Dorados on ice.
They reached their fill of filets, and spent the balance of their day releasing Dorados.
John Egan’s group took to the Explorer on the 12th after spending a few days on the big boats earlier in the week.
Smaller boat, same big fish! An excellent Striped Marlin release was backed-up with a super Sailfish release.
They also boated a few tasty Dorados for the dinner table.
