Great work by the barroom brawler!
Jeff Capen made FishingNosara history back in January with a monster Blue Marlin release on the 23-foot Adventurer.
He came back on December 2 with the family and moved up the 32-foot Harvester, where they scored a bunch of nice Yellowfin Tunas.
Stephen Kresge joined Captain Carlos on the Discoverer on November 30 and scored a whopper of a Yellowfin Tuna. Check out his monster:
Mark Trevino got off to a great start on November 28. The Harvester captured a nice array of Yellowfin Tunas.
Looks like the Tuna was put to good use.
Rocky Carter scored big on the Adventurer on November 28 with a bunch of super Yellowfin Tunas catches.
Tambi Katieb treated her boys to a big fishing party on board the Harvester on November 25. The guest of honor was this monstrous Sailfish.
Snacks for the party were provided by a batch of fat Yellowfin Tunas.
The boys even pulled off a double Yellowfin Tuna hook-up and catch.
Great work by the Katieb family and the mega panga Harvester!
Captain Fico stayed inshore today with angler Moses Homer reporting an excellent Rooster Fish release. They backed up that catch with a football-sized Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.
The Discoverer welcomed Thomas Kerl’s group for a 5 hour half day on the 18th, and despite the shortened day the battleship still delivered the goods.
Captain Fico reports that the staple catches of Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado were present, but suprisingly they also nagged a big Wahoo.
These silver bullets are common in our area but we rarely catch them because their sharp teeth destroy our all-monofiliment rigs (a Wahoo-specific rig uses wire instead of mono). Guess is was a lucky day for the big battleship.
The Adventurer led the pack on the 18th with a crazy day of action that included BIG Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas.
They even scored a Rooster fish release at the end of the trip.
Amazing action by the very busy Captain David.
The Harvester got it poppin’ on the 17th with a wide variety of filets on ice.
This group of European anglers offerend no quartor with catches of Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, and the elusive Needlefish.
