John Dant scored a fantastic Marlin release on September 2.
This juvenile Blue Marlin is tricky to hook and requires extra care to release safely…we can’t wait to see this puppy grow to a big bad dog.
They threw down the gauntlet with a nice Sailfish release later in the trip.
It’s officially the off-season, but don’t tell Captain Alex and the Harvester. They braved the so-called rainy season on September 1st with Lindsey McNally and her group.
The Sailfish were charged up and ready for action. These Jacksoville anglers were up to the task!
Excellent fish handling by Mate Wilson to ensure the safe release of these beauties.
They also added this Dorado for the dinner table.
The Sims group finished off their trip on August 27 with a fun day in the sun on the Discoverer.
They were paced by the Wanderer offshore, but pulled up when the keen-eyed Captain Carlos spotted this floating debris:
The large fish were elusive but the big battleship stayed busy with a large quantity of smaller catches.
They had a sushi appetizer to celebrate the good catches, then contributed their sizable haul of fish to Maria for a family-style dinner back at Nosara Paradise Rentals.

Javier Hernandez aka Rey Robalo scored this amazing 39lbs. Snook at the Nosara River Mouth in late-August.
The Snook bite has been excellent this month with lots of nice catches.
Darrell and Teresa Sims scored big on their second day of fishing with Captain William.
Big Yellowfin Tunas were the order of the day, the flagship Wanderer loaded up.
Mark caught a nice Sailfish in the middle of the trip.
Then it was back to the Yellowfin Tunas.

The Discoverer scored this beautiful Rooster Fish release on August 26 with angler Keith McMahon.
For the dinner table they nagged this Cubera Snapper and a Yellowfin Tuna.
Captain David finished off the 2019 season on August 26 with excellent inshore action.
This sweet Snapper was joined by some small Yellowfin Tunas and Red Groupers.

Fresh off of his double Marlin release birthday celebration, Stephen Dziadul stayed inshore to battle the elusive Rooster Fish.
Captain William left Garza Bay, took a sharp right and approached the Pink Island where the big Rooster like to hide.
They nagged two sweet releases. Great work by the mighty flagship…master of offshore and inshore fishing!
Keith McMahon and his boys knocked big Blue Marlin off the bucket list on the 23rd.
Captain Carlos reports that this wonderful release was backed up by some big Yellowfin Tunas.
