Dennis Paul was back on the Explorer and caught eight nice Yellowfin Tunas and a Rainbow Runner, then capped it off with a MASSIVE 65lbs. Cuberra Snapper. This catch is certainly Hall of Fame-worthy and gives Mr. Paul the distinction of being the only double-enshrined member to date.

Fishing was slow today, but back at the Nosara Paradise Rentals campus the construction of the new Safari Garage is moving along splendidly. The pillars are all up and the roof beams are in place.
This project is far ahead of schedule and should be completed very soon. Great work as always by Javier and the rest of the team!

Captain Eduardo took the nimble Nice n’ Tight out to deep water to take a crack at some billfish. He has a knack for getting big results from his little boat and on this day in particular Captain Eduardo released an excellent Marlin.
Also this month client Greg Donoghue and his friends were on the Nice n’ Tight and had great action on Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado.
Another month of fantastic fishing by the legendary Captain Eduardo Carrillo.

Newly-inducted Hall of Famer Dennis Paul was back in Nosara on May 4, and once again he had the fishies running scared. He earned his enshrinement by releasing a gigantic Blue Marlin back in February on the Wanderer and this time is on the Explorer mercilessly beating down the inshore species.
Captain David took the Explorer out to his secret spot and they packed the fishbox with haste and reckless abandon. Their scorecard shows two Jacks, a Rock Snapper, and seven nice Yellowfin Tunas.

However, May 3 was a new day and client Sam Dobson and his girlfriend brought in the kind of catches we are all used to seeing on the Explorer. They stayed inshore and got the decks bloody early with a nice Rainbow Runner and a beefy Yellowfin Tuna.
They capped off the day with some offshore hustling and caught a ridiculously huge 70lbs Wahoo. Known as mini-Marlins in some circles, the Wahoo is a powerful fighter who pound-for-pound is just as formidable a foe as a billfish.

On May 3 we hosted a Nature Tour on the Wanderer, Sportsman, and local boat High Roller for thirty students visiting Nosara with the Yoga Shelter. They saw turtles, seabirds, flying fish, dolphins, whales and more awesome marine life. “It was an AMAZING trip!” said one yogi.

On May 1 Captain William and the boys did it again, this time burying the hooks into a nice Sailfish. The Wanderer is dialed in for billfish!

Captain Eduardo brought our good buddy Ryan Kerr and some friends for a day of offshore billfish hunting on the 32′ battlewagon Sportsman. They started off with some nice Yellowfin action when a massive sailfish came tearing through the spread.
Nice release by First Mate Pepio and a great job by Captain Eduardo to best the beast.

Captain David has the Explorer producing consistently excellent trips for her clients. Michael Zwilling booked the Explorer and had a fantastic day. They stayed inside and absolutely pummeled the inshore reef fish.
At the end of the day they had caught a Rainbow Runner (aka Rainbow Tunney), six nice Yellowfin Tunas and a 40lbs. Cuberra Snapper. Great day of rod-bendin’ action from Captain David!

The Safari Cart Garage is really taking shaped. All hands were on deck for today:
Nice to see the Kayak Rack in the foreground. Stay tuned for more garage updates!
