Jason came home with this nice-sized Jack on a half-day fishing with Captain David Barrantes on the Explorer. As usual the Explorer is catching all types of fish for her clients.

Ron and Katherine booked the Wanderer and their party came home with a wide variety of fish. To the left, a nice Yellowfin Tuna. Below is a 20-25lbs. Cuberra snapper; not the biggest one we’ve seen but certainly just as tasty. Beneath that is a nice little Amberjack.
All of these fish are great as sushi or as table fare, and I’m sure that nobody went hungry on this night!

Our good friend Eduardo Barrios is back in Nosara. With several trips on the Wanderer under his belt, Sr. Barrios was itching to try the new Explorer. He brought his youngest daughter out and Captain David put them on some fish early and often.
“Lost track of how many black tuna,” writes Eduardo. “At least 10 plus one jack and two snappers. And of course we lost several great hits that we just couldn’t get any leverage on. Below is a pic of what we took home.”

“We also had the opportunity to see a few sting rays, a whale, lots of turtles and dolphin. My daughter absolutely loved it.”
The Explorer is busy as heck these days. Yesterday client Erick caught 5 black tunas, 5 jacks and a nice little needle fish. Conditions are finally getting right and we are looking forward to starting 2011 with a bang. Pura Vida!

On December 28 client Eric was on board the Explorer with his sons and they had a fabulous amount of action. They caught five Black Tunas, five Jacks, and a feisty little needle fish.

The Loughran Bridal party was on board the Wanderer and, not to be outdone by the boys, they piled up the fishbox by catching a wide variety of tunas, Jack Crevalles, and Amberjacks.

With the big day looming on Tuesday, the soon-to-be-newlyweds knew that their were still some big fish waiting for them.

June 10th was a chance for the staff of Nosara Paradise Rentals to get out on the water and do a little ‘research’ for the company. General Manager Javier Hernandez, Concierge Manuel DeCampos, and Chief Groundskeeper Grevin Hernandez had great success on a three-hour sunset cruise.

They caught seven 20lbs. Yellowfin tunas, a 15lbs. Ponpano, a 12lbs. Amberjack, and a 12lbs. Rainbow runner. Our staff is the best in the business and they can fish!

This group of clients had an awesome day working the topwater reefs, bringing in a nice Cubera Snapper and the elusive Rooster Fish. Best of all they had a boatload of fun!

On February 7 clients Pat Webber and Lori Hoffman were on board the Wanderer and had a fantastic day. The highlight of their haul was this awesome 45lbs. Cuberra, and they had a blast on just a two-and-a-half hour trip. Look at this haul, and in such a short time!

“What a great crew, we really enjoyed our fishing with these guys.”
-Gaylon Catalano, after a half-day fishing February 7th and catching this superior Cuberra Snapper.

February 6th was a day for the staff of Nosara Paradise Rentals to have some fun out on the water. General Manager Javier Hernandez, Cumi, and NPR Concierge Numero Uno Manuel took a sunset cruise on the Wanderer and hauled in a whole mess of fish, included a baby Cuberra Snapper…they returned the little fella to the blue water, but even as a youth it fought like a tiger. It’s great to see our wonderful staff have a great day out on the water!
