The Harvester stayed hot on October 20 with client Shane Miears reporting a big pile of Dorado filets on ice.
Everyone got a turn on the reel and contributed to the dinnertime Dorado haul!
James Wills came to Nosara primarily to surf, but he brought some friends along for an afternoon half day with Captain Alex on on October 19th.
This big Dorado got the afternoon off to a hot start, and was backed up by a similarly monstrous Mahi-Mahi:
A third fired-up Dorado put Team Wills to the test but was no match for the Mega Panga:
After all these filets ended up on ice in the fishbox, a little finch perched on one of the anglers’ head:
This must have been a good omen, because a late day Sailfish strike put the exclamation point on this great fishing day.
Awesome work by James Willis and his posse!
After several days of sweet Sailfish action, the Harvester spent the 15th targeting meat fish with the Koehn group.
They nabbed five fat Dorados for the filet bag.
Great trip to the meat market by the Harvester!
The Harvester welcomed Ronnie Koehn and the boys back for more Sailfish action on the 12th.
The billfish were fired up, but the Mega Panga was up to the task.
Nice work by Mate Kevin on the safe releases on these beauties.
Our good friend Ronnie Koehn is a returning CCA TX angler who has a knack for scoring big in Nosara.
Captain Alex welcomed this fun group to the Harvester for a fine day of Sailfish releases on October 11.
Nice job by Mate Kevin to safely release these monsters.
Casey Jones made a quick visit to Nosara on October 8 and found a world of success on the Harvester.
This nice Striped Marlin was the highlight of the trip which also included a pair of Sailfish releases.
Captain Fico stayed inshore with Lisa Carter’s group on October 3, and they rang the dinner bell with this nice Cubera Snapper:
They also scored a pair of Rooster fish releases.
Awesome job by the Explorer.
Lisa Carter braved wet conditions on October 1st and scored a quartet of tasty Tunas.
Great work by the brave Explorer!
Rachael and Maurice Taylor had a nice run of trips with Captain Fico on September 26th and 27th.
The highlight was this sweet Sailfish release, but the haul also included a good number of Yellowfin Tunas backed up by a couple big Dorados.
Excellent work by the barroom brawler!
