Captain Alex started 2020 with a great run to the blue water. The morning session was dominated by big Sailfish releases and giant Dorado scores.
The afternoon session was more of the same, with rod-bending action reported all the way until sundown.
Great work by the mega panga Harvester!
Captain Alex delivered the goods for Joe Malina’s family in late December. They stayed busy with mulitple Sailfish releases.
Captain Alex pulled double duty on the 30th with two separate half-day charters.
Chad Turner’s family came out in the morning and scored a bunch of high-flying Sailfish releases.
In the afternoon session Kristina Hubard family also scored a bunch of great Sailfish releases.
Tim Galbraith and the Harvester went to the meat market on December 29. They caught several nice Yellowfin Tunas and a big Dorado.
On December 28 Chris Dooley and Northeast rep for FishingNosara Mark Cooney battled blue water beasties, with several nice Sailfish releases ending up on the scorecard.
Greg Finak and his group scored a MASSIVE Yellowfin Tuna with Captain Alex on the 27th.
They also boated an excellent Dorado to add variety to the filet bag.
Joshua Kaplan walked into the office on the morning of the 26th and booked the Harvester for that very afternoon; despite the truncated day they still nagged a bunch of great fish.
This monster Dorados were the highlight on a day that also featured a swole Sailfish release and a bunch of Yellowfin Tunas.
The Harvester kept rocking with more Dorados and Sailfish releases.
UK angler Peter Brumby joined the Harvester on Christmas Eve and they had a bunch of nice gifts under the tree.
“We had a great morning fishing today,” wrote Peter in an email.
The Lutz boys kept up the hot action on December 11. Captain Alex caught this amazing footage of BIG Yellowfin Tunas breaching the water:
They worked over the bubbling pot of fish and nagged this pair of excellent specimens.
